Poorly run motel. Yes, a motel. Never had I stayed at a proper hotel where the chrome in the bathroom is actually rusted, the shower curtain rod is almost falling off the wall, the toilet roll holder falling off every time I reach for the TP, and the exhaust fan is literally sprinkling water on you while you're using the toilet. The owners really need to put the money back into the property and not just in their pockets. The breakfast was a joke. Coffee, bananas, cereal, and toast. THAT'S IT. On THEIR app on the phone, upon check in, I was offered an upgrade to a suite (from my basic one queen bed room), and I accepted it. The offer was to upgrade to the suite for only $2 more a night. Of course I took it! On top of that, I received a confirmation email saying my request was "accepted". However, upon check in, I didn't get my suite, I got instead a two queen beds room. Being I was with my company during check in, I didn't make a fuss about it. However when I checked out, I noticed that my bill was $110 more than my previous amount when I booked my reservation. The system still thought I was in my approved suite and proceeded to charge me as such. Had I not reviewed my copy of the bill, these guys might've gotten away with it. Fortunately, the lady at the front desk found the error and charged me correctly for the upgrade to a two bed room rather than a suite. She was my only pleasant experience. I plan on visiting Hattiesburg many more times for my business affairs but this "hotel" will not be on any searches for my future stays. Very unhappy with the quality of the facilities and services for what I paid.
