Motel 6 Hayward, CA - East Bay

Check in was quick & easy. Employees were kind. We entered our room & it completely smelled of cigarettes & it looked and felt dirty. There were stains on the bed sheets, walls & toilet seat cover. The toilet seat was old & discolored, & the floors had crumbs all over it, so we went back to the office to ask for a new room & they accommodated us immediately. We got a room a couple of doors down, it ended up still smelling of cigarettes & all the other things listed above, but wasn’t as bad as the first room. We stayed but I left our window open just in case our car got broken into bc the ppl staying here are sketchy. The area this motel is in is very noisy, there were guests arguing and fighting outside in the parking lot & there are signs all over the motel saying “motel is not liable for any items stolen while unattended”. I was very upset with our stay here & will never be staying here again.

Heater did not work properly. No microwave or Fridge.

This property was just convenient to me because the location was closed to where I needed to do business

One day only, very satisfied, clean , good air conditioning, great costumer service.

Checking in was quite a breeze. But some of the facilities needs to be upgraded. Overall it was a nice place to stay and sleep.

Lots of animals on property without leashes.

There was Mo all through the property. It was dirty. I had to move rooms.

Check in was easy. Grounds were ok, lot of broken down cars or homeless. Lot of night noise on the weekends I was awake til 2am.. The bed was terrible, felt like it was 25 years old with lumps and body grooves. Works if you’re on a budget and traveling but next time I’ll pay more somewhere else.
