The hotel balcony room is very nice, the scenery is beautiful, the service and catering are good, the transportation is convenient, I will stay here next time

The location is good, in the old town, the facilities are a bit old, but overall it's good. The service is quite good. Facing the river, the environment is great.

The room smelled musty, the bath water was hot and cold, and the mattress was broken.

There was a musty smell in the room that resulted in only a 3 star rating for condition and comfort. But otherwise the hotel was fine.

Old property, needs a major refresh. Breakfast buffet is barely marginal. Hot items were at best lukewarm.had to wait for ~15 minutes to get the potatoes and finally when they arrivef, they were absolutely cold. had requested early check-in, butvwerevasked to waitfor two gours beforewe could get into our room. Does not live upto the Marriott brand name.

Very nice location located on the Neckar river in Heidelberg. Location is great for walking into the historic area of downtown. Room was clean and quiet and staff very friendly and helpful.
