Fairfield Inn & Suites Helen

This hotel was right on the edge of Alpine Helen. If you take a car from here to the main area of Helen in no traffic it’s two minutes. Walking is about 10-15 minutes. The room was cozy and quiet. The shower was a decent size. The staff was warm and friendly. Their indoor pool is very small, but towels are provided. Their gym is also small and has ellipticals, treadmills, and free weights and provides towels, paper towels, and cleaning spray for the equipment. Good to keep a basic work out routine during the holiday! Breakfast was simple, not too many options, but they offered some gluten-free choices and when o asked for more fresh fruit they brought out some bananas. I’d stay here again! Good price, clean, and nice people!

Pricey, but with the area we are in that’s understandable. Breakfast was good. Had two rooms. One had a dried pice of beef jerky under the bed. The other had a trash can that the trash was not taken out. Plus a sock in the drawer. Is housekeeping really cleaning these rooms? TV wouldn’t work in one room. Guy at desk tried to fix and we appreciated his efforts. Location is good and the staff was friendly. Wouldn’t recommend overall and may not be back.

A truly disappointing experience at a five star price. While the hotel appears to be fairly new, it is poorly designed. The rooms are not comfortable and under-furnished. There was only one chair in the room and the desk lamp could not be moved from its position in the center of the "desk", which was really a table on sawhorse style legs. The one and only chair was heavy and uncomfortable. The lighting was insufficient to comfortably read a book (and no comfortable place to do so.) While there was coffee in the room, there was no tea - how hard is it to provide some tea bags that are in the lobby? Housekeeping changed the towels, but little else, did not even make the bed. The lobby furniture was oversized and uncomfortable. At these prices go somewhere else!

Excellent stay. The staff is very cordial and helpful. The room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was satisfactory too. It is a short walk to the main areas of Helen. This was our second visit to this hotel and will certainly stay there again when visiting Helen.

We arrived late for our check in. The front desk was very nice and welcoming as she processed our check in. We were asked for our floor preference which does not happen at other hotels. And lI appreciated this. We only stayed overnight. The hallway is clean and pleasant smelling. We got to our room and it was perfect temperature. The room was quiet. You don’t hear any noise from the neighboring room. The free wifi worked awesome unlike other hotels I have stayed at. Shower stall was clean. There were enough towels. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Helen.

Nice hotel. Staff is adequate and is very responsive, rooms are good and well cleaned. Breakfast was good. Overall, 4 stores ranking above average. A little far from the high traffic area but still accessible with small walk. Met our needs.

Location was good! Room was okay! We booked king suite! Bathroom was not properly cleaned! Lots of dirts and filths were coming out from the inside edge of the wash basin every time we had to use it! Found lots of hairs on the bed linen and pillow covers upon checking in! Not at all worth the price! They charged $800+ for 3 nights and no way it was justified! It’s simply a robbery in the day light!

This property is squeaky clean with the most pleasant staff! It’s conveniently located for the Helen, Cleveland, and Dahlonega attractions - just up the road from the Hardman Farm. Every day we started with breakfast and slept well because the property was quiet.

My family and I decided to make a last minute pit stop in Helen and spend the night. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was fresh just enough for us. Check In was an exceptional experience with Maddison. Her welcoming and radiating energy was just what we need after a long day on the road. We Highly recommend this hotel.
