Check in was abrupt, the receptionist seemed more bothered about the people behind us. We had booked 3 rooms and two other family members had booked 2 other rooms.
The room was clean but the bathroom needed a good scrub in 4 out of the 5 rooms.
When I booked the rooms I was made to believe we could use the pool and gym but on checking in we were told it would cost £20 per person.

The room was clean and tidy, the beds comfortable. there was Condensation in the room, the window sill was wet.
Breakfast was nice, the hot food is limited but still plenty of choice. Allergies were well catered for, the apple juice was awful 🤣
Staff were pleasant and helpful.

This hotel is an economical chain hotel. It does what the label says, but surprised me with many small pluses. The rooms have everything a traveller needs from the comfortable bed onwards. They are attractively and cleverly decorated, generously-sized compared with many others, and well-maintained. These days just being acknowledged can feel like a win, but the staff here were always pleasant, helpful and engaged. The included breakfast has most of the expected items (no mushrooms, but including tasty sausages, Marmite and Marmalade!), all well, if simply prepared. Tea or coffee are available but if you are a coffee aficionado, I would recommend the tea. However the old trick, when using the automatic espresso machine, of adding an extra espresso shot into your cup, is well worth a try. The bar is manned till late with a small but adequate range of offerings including snacks. I enjoyed my 5 day stay, and appreciated the warm welcome and friendly human contact!

Perfect location for a pre Norwich Airport departure stay. Also,I It’s only a £2 bus journey into the city centre. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Nice and clean and well equipped rooms. Good bar and restaurant area. We asked for a grab and go breakfast as we were headed over to the airport (5 min walk) at 5am. We were very impressed by the quality and quantity that they had prepared for us the next morning. Again, despite the early hour, by very friendly staff.

Didn't even stay at the hotel but mistakenly thought we were in the Asda car park. Signage was very subtle and not obvious. £60 parking fine so won't be using any Holiday inns to stay on anymore, they can get lost. They may have made £60 buy they have list a lot more in future business. I'll be staying in Premier Inn next time we go away.

On arrival check in was completed by Sherrie who provided a master class in customer service, top notch! Our premium room was beautifully clean and warm which was a relief with the current cold spell. Bathroom was clean although a bit on the small side, otherwise there was no fault. Breakfast was really good and tasty with plenty of options available. Overall we had an enjoyable two nights here.

Room had 2 single beds instead of a double which I wasn’t impressed with. Right next to David Lloyd gym which was noisy mornings and night. No restaurant other than eating in the lobby by reception. Breakfast was quite good with plenty of options.
