We have just had a wedding celebration evening dinner and disco at Hellidon Lakes and it was absolutely fantastic! A beautiful setting and perfect for some great wedding photos. Brilliantly organised by Hatty who,for months beforehand, was available to talk through the small details of our celebration. Hatty did a wonderful job and was so helpful and friendly. We were handed over to Jemma who did an amazing job taking care of the actual event and our evening was absolutely perfect! The wait staff were great, so professional, the food was amazing, a three course dinner served hot and delicious for 90 of us! Amazing!! Nigel, the DJ did a fabulous job and had everyone dancing for hours! This is a great place for parties and celebrations and we highly recommend it! Thanks so much to all the staff at Hellidon!

Worst hotel stay ever. Devoid of staff and when found they have an extremely unfriendly attitude. Rude and blunt at reception. No staff at the bar. Noisy party at hotel with crap sound system and zero activity by the hotel to resolve. Poor food and low quality drinks. I will not be booking again.

Went with husband after visiting with friends for a girlie weekend a few years before & it was as superb then as before.. Hotel is nestled offa country lane surrounded by fields, ample parking & very friendly staff.. Check in was simple, room delightful except view wasn’t great, but sitting in spa lounge area bar overlooking golf course relaxing is something I could do everyday.. Breakfast included in price along with 2 x Spa Treatments which can be booked in advance.. Would definitely recommend.. Although we visited before the 2023 date shown, I’d expect it to still be as fabulous - am looking to go again this year..

Quality weekend had by 40 golfers all are needs were met very nice golf and food outstanding. The rooms were very clean and serviced daily with a comfy bed. Staff were amazing exceeded all are exspectations would definitely recommend coming to this hotel spa facilities were good too.

A golf trip 40 strong, we were looked after and accommodated very well without fuss. The staff were warm and welcoming. Look forward to another visit. The golf course is a tough test but very rewarding. A well thought out parkland course with quirks

Group of 40 for our annual Ryder Cup themed north vs south, brilliant weekend hotel & staff looked after us all superbly, this is our 3rd time at this hotel/golf. Cant fault it, ignore the negative reviews based on the buggies, remember the wet winter the uk has had

Excellent weekend of golf. Good setting and great food. Hayley was an excellent host looking after our party of 40 at each evening meal. We would definitely come again and would recommend to any groups who wanted a great weekend in pleasant surroundings

Very noise room, knocking radiator all night and a very early wake up by the geese so really not a good night sleep. Saved by a very lovely lady in the breakfast room called Vicky who was an absolute ray of sunshine. Big thank you to her for making my morning ☺️

Hotel is extremely tired. Corridor up the the room smelt of damp. Room was freezing cold and had to get someone to come up and fix the radiator.
Hotel was full of loud groups. Food was bland and expensive for what it was. Would never stay again.
