Best Hotels near Meridian Commercial Center, Hemet

Great hotel and staff. But security is needed during the hours when breakfast is being served. Many vagrants entering the hotel and eating for free. The girls should not be the ones checking on people. I saw about 12 people enter and eat that were NOT staying at the hotel

First time staying at this best western, transients hang out in the front and side of the location all day. They had old Refrigerators sitting outside taking up limited parking. Parking lot was flooded so you step in 4” of water when getting out of your vehicle. Now the room; sticky stuff on the floor, mold in the top coroner of the shower where condensation build up happens and they don’t wipe, sticky stuff on the office desk, the window ac unit has tons of dirt piled in the vents and isn’t cooling to temperature because the coils are neglected, long hairs attached to clean towels, dog hair (no pet aloud room) still on the ground. Tile missing grout in the restroom…this was room 102 on the first floor. In the Concierge room someone brought in leaking liquids and it’s all on the ground visible and sticky (this was the 2nd impression) I spent most of the night cleaning and sanitizing because I had two young kids with me. I do not recommend this hotel at this cost. It’s better then most hotels in the city of hemet but their service standards are not up to par and neither is the housekeepers. We skipped on the free breakfast due to negligence in room-can only assume what kitchen looks like.

This has been my go to hotel for several years now while visiting my family in Yucaipa. After many happy visits there my last visit was unacceptable in every way. I had to make a trip to help with a family health issue. First, I made my 3 day reservation two weeks in advance online through IHG like normal. The price was nearly 3 times what it had been a year earlier. Two days later I needed to add one more day. The person I talked to from the IHG website said that I couldn't make a change to the reservation because it had been more than 24 hours past the ”cancellation date” and I would end up having to pay for the entire stay if I cancelled that reservation and made a new one with 4 days. He said he had no ability to simply add one more day to my existing reservation. This is still nearly two weeks out. I asked them how we can solve the issue... to simply add one more day. The answer after 45 minutes on the phone with them: Make a new reservation for one day. Fine. The day I arrived I wanted to make it clear that I wanted to not change rooms after the 3rd day and they agreed. I had minor issues with the keys not working on 2 of the 3 days but that's happened before. No biggie. The breakfast they offered was a joke all 4 days. I finally had to take photos the final day. I understand not having hot food due to covid but the mini fridge literally had a few yogurt cups, uncrustables and bean burritos (not a breakfast choice typically but okay) bagels and milk. The buffet had a few oatmeal packets, the cereal was well stocked and there were green oranges, a green banana and ketchup and hot sauce packets. Juice and coffee was well stocked. When I had to ”check out” after the 3rd night I went to the front desk to do that. We closed out the first reservation and they asked for my credit card to pay for the final day. Card was declined because they had 3 pending charges from the hotel for a total of nearly $1600 (3 days were supposed to be at $750ish) and that amount was encumbered against my credit line. I showed those charges to the staff. ”Sorry, that's out of our control” They wanted to charge my card for the 3rd night for another $155 which took the encumbered amount over $1700. I literally had to make a payment to my credit card in order to book my room for that third night. Once that was resolved I was greeted with.. ”I hope I can keep you in the same room”. 10 minutes later it finally happened. I complained to IHG corporate ( a person titled: (name witheld: eMedia Coordinator) after the trip about what happened and would want some sort of compensation from the unacceptable situation. I received a return email stating they were sorry but couldn't do anything and they referred me back to the hotel management. The hotel management called and said they were sorry but it was IHG's issue because they did the reservation but here's our ”standard $50 credit toward my next stay”. Those were exact words. We had a room block of 20 rooms at South Coast Winery for our wedding weekend. We (the bride and groom) stayed in one of the big mountain king suites, and it was fantastic! We had lots of room for entertaining our bridal party and getting ready before the wedding in the living room area, and we still had our separate bedroom area. We had amazing views of the vineyards and hot air balloons from our giant patio. Our guests mentioned how nice the hotel was, and the whole booking process was very smooth. Overall, an amazing home base for our wedding weekend.

The hotel was perfect breakfast was awesome not othwr hotels give out breakfast due to covid. The service was awesome

The location of Fireside is close to town. It was peaceful at night. Our cabin was roomy and had a nice little porch to sit on. Reservation was easy to make and check in and out was also easy. We were a little disappointed in a few things. Our cabin did not have a table to eat at. It did have a small bar to sit at. I'm 5.6 and when I sat on the bar stool, the bar came up to me shoulders. We had to sit on the bed to have coffee and eat out meals. There was one wicker style chair in the Cabin. We took turns sitting in it. Not comfortable. The shower head in the Cabin we were in, is located about shoulder height. Given that I'm 5.6 and my Husband is over 6ft, each time we used the shower it was an experience. Also, there was a big window in the shower. Even though there is a shade over it, it still had ways to look in. Maybe if the window was frosted, there might be more privacy. The kitchen area was cute. It was very helpful to have cups, dishes, flatware, microwave, little fridge and coffee pot. We felt the AC could not keep up with the size of the Cabin we stayed in. During the day with all the shades closed and the Wall unit AC only got down to 79. Around 1am the AC finally would reach 75. Parking is tight and bushes and tree branches hang over the parking area in front of the Cabin we stayed in. Once parked we couldn't use the passenger's side of the car because of the branches and bushes. I
