Super 8 by Wyndham Henrietta/Rochester Area Reviews

Not sure if I expected too much but here are my concerns: 1. Our booked non smoking room smelled like a smoking room. 2. The free breakfast was just cereals, pancakes, and oatmeal. There are also coffee and orange juice. No fruits nor eggs. I asked the front desk about it and they said that is all they have. The problem is, I booked the hotel also because it included a free breakfast. Everything else worked. (Shower r, aircon, etc.)

Stayed here for Solar Eclipse. Nice enough hotel, staff very attentive. Breakfast good, breads, bagels, oatmeal, waffles, yogurt, juice, and cereal. Fresh fruit consisted of mandrin oranges and apples. We spent over $600 for our 2 night stay; very high for the type of hotel but it was one of the least expensive for this event. We would have no problem staying there again if needed and if the cost is way less.

Nice clean place to sleep overnight. Do not expect spotless room but clean enough to take a shower and sleep. Comfy bed and pillows, had very good sleep. 15 minutes to the airport.

Good value forbthe money paid. Super 8s are getting better

Rude front desk and stereotype

Comfortable stay but overall the staff wasn’t that great. We didn’t have any soap in our room so instead of them bringing the soap to us we had to go get it at the front desk. During breakfast there were no napkins so we went to ask for napkins and the front desk guy said theres nothing he can do about that. Didn’t even apologize for no napkins. He told us well what do you want me to do about it? The staff needs to work on there customer service skills.

The hotel was good for the price . The heat in the room was not on when we got there so it was freezing. The heat was extremely loud all night. Luckily we are use to noise. I told front desk not much reaction from the front desk clerk.

Front desk is great. Hotel is in good condition and clean. Noise seems to be a regular problem, but switching rooms wasn't an issue. Exterior stairway doors are unlocked/open 24/7. It's a better than average value for the cost.

Stairs and hallways unclean, trash outside of building, seemed to be many men/workers staying at property??? breakfast was very sparse - juice machine out of order, house keeping only came one time during 3 night stay.

Good room for a last minute booking on the road. No surprises: all clean and friendly. Great location.

Room was clean price was good. People being loud inside and outside of hotel 2-4am in morning. Out of many things on breakfast buffet.

The room was clean and comfortable. The halls smelt like **** but the room didn't, so I didn't care. Desk check-in was great, Tasha I think. The outside grounds were terrible with trash. The man who oversaw breakfast was creepy, he watched every bite we ate and every breakfast item that was there. Waffles, apples and bagels, hot beverages for breakfast which was nice. Overall happy room was clean.
