Premier Inn Hull West

We always go for a Premier Inn when needing to stay away from home. This time it was to drop our daughter at University. We simply picked the cheapest from 4 around the area and were very pleased with the location when we arrived. Lovely clean room with large comfy bed and there was no noise so we were completely undisturbed. There are even a few Peacocks in the grounds!

My first impression when arriving at the hotel car park was that the whole area was untidy and grim. The reception was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, and due to the weather and the fact that the hotel had no aircon, a fan was provided. I had an evening meal on the first night and was not impressed at all, it was nothing special and not much of it considering the cost. The following morning I had breakfast which was the normal English breakfast. However on being seated I noticed just how dirty the area looked, shabby carpets dirty grimy chairs sticky tables. On the whole not a pleasant experience. This by way was the Brewers Fayre, not Premier Inns. On the advertising which was what I decide on when booking,is nothing like the pictures. I just wish had known the truth of the matter before booking. have stayed on many occasions with Premier in the past but felt badly let down with this area. Staff by way were great.

Lovely relaxing stay, was lovely to arrive to the peacock to great us. we would definitely stay again and was lovely room, with facilities and can't knock the shower either.

We had a 1 night stay after a day at the near by Beverley races. The staff are what makes me give the score I have as they are all very lovely. Especially Sarah on reception who took time to tell me about the Peacock and also sorted out a minor issue for us. Although we did not get rooms close together we still enjoyed our stay and our children were overjoyed to see Penelope and the babies at breakfast. Nice little touch giving the kids a treat for the colouring in. The grounds could do with some maintenance which would make sitting outside a bit more appealing. The rooms were very warm but a fan was provided in each room to try cool them down.

Room dusty and very worn out looking. No A/C and fan that was in Room totally inadequate.Staff were rude in some cases. Wouldn't be recommending it to anyone. Worst I've ever been in.

Hotel is fine. Kept waiting at reception for close to 10 mins for a receptionist to arrive, got to room which was again average but this hotel has zero reception, phone, WiFi and even the premier inn ‘premium’ WiFi for £5 extra doesn’t work. Nice location and always feels above average in premier inn standards but I’ll always avoid unless no better options. Rather drive 40 mins and be able to continue work/ emails / calls whilst at hotel.

We have stayed in this hotel everytime we come up north. Its perfect for us i would not go anywhere else

Stayed here overnight due to participating in a late night race nearby. Location is perfect. Room was clean. The onsight park is brilliant! However, room was 24 degrees all night so very hot and stuffy... There was a fan in the room but it wasn't doing much, also made worse by the fact that you can't really open the windows particularly wide. At the time of check in we had to book a time slot for breakfast which I didn't really like - due to the lateness of the race, I wasn't sure how tired I would be in the morning and what time I would feel like getting up so that made it a bit less relaxing... The children's soft play indoors was also closed.

Brilliant hotel, friendly and professional staff who are eager to please. We always stay at Hull West for welcoming, caring staff and great value for money. Bar staff in Brewers Fayre, the restaurant arm of the hotel even found alternative ways of paying when the tills “ went down” so that people could eat! Abosolutely Fabulous Mr. Mark Clayton should be proud of his staff.
