Hotels near Mercure, Hettange-Grande

B & B hotels are generally basic, but good value. This one was certainly basic, had several added advantages:- A proper reception desk - nominally manned 24 hours a day, but the receptionist clearly had other duties so sometimes needed to be sought out; very pleasant and helpful staff; an excellent location by the train station and a short walk across the river from the town centre; good view (from our room) over the river to the town. Sadly the on-site restaurant was closed throughout our stay, but I would nonetheless rate the place as very good for the price we paid.

The hotel is a very comfortable hotel, very comfortable and comfortable. It's a bad thing that there is no electrical screen on the sides of the bed. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable.

We traveled from Atlantic coast to Roumania and the stay at Roi du Soleil was exactly what we need after a long driving day.In a very green area, with a large parking it is also recommended for visiting Metz. We will certainly choose it again if our roads will pass through the area

Arrival; welcome with stay fee to pay for 2 nights, it makes mesh to attract tourists. PS You must book the tables in advance because otherwise it is blinded by world. Except for the small disturbances above, this is a very good establishment. If you have to give him a note I will give him 18/20 . Thanks to the entire team for your dedication.

Even for €50 per night, you can expect a right room. The first night's bed is in the form of a ”cuvette” so we sleep very badly and the pain feels in the morning. The first night is exactly the same as the first ... either all the summers are completely fucked ... or they have been mocked at me.

Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend and/or stay again. In detail: - My partner and I stayed here during summer holidays. It was a mixed business & leisure trip. I worked in the lobby/restaurant for 2 days and Wifi was great throughout the entire hotel (no glitched, no loss of connection during conference calls). - All staff was very friendly and helpful. From the people at the reception, to the cleaning personal, as soon as we had a question, they helped us. - The rooms are also very modern, clean and with quiet AC(airco). I would even suggest to the hotel that it’s not needed to renew all towels every day. I’m ok with using my towel for a few days. ;) - Breakfast is ok. It’s all there (cheeses, meats, fruit, yoghurt, cornflakes, coffee, tea, milk, juices, eggs, toast & croissants.). It is fresh and tasty, but don’t expect a lavish brunch. I read some of the previous reviews and sometimes people need to manage their own expectations. ;) As it is a new hotel, some suggestions I would like to bring to hotel management: - I was missing a tiny fridge in the room. Luckily the staff stored our food in the kitchen, but I felt a bit guilty asking for it every morning. - I would invest in an AC in the breakfast room. It’s a very nice space, filled with light, but that also means that during summer it gets quite warm. Nonetheless: definitely worth a stay when visiting Luxembourg! Extra tip! Go visit the brewery next door + tasting and ask for Eric. Eric was our tour guide. He’s very knowledgeable and like to share his stories, which for us made sure we had a great time! Also the beer is good (bonus, haha). :P

Great hotel within walking distance of the airport terminal with free parking. Room was clean and this hotel was a fantastic base for our trip to the Belgium Grand Prix at Spa - approx 75 min drive. The local shuttle bus into Luxembourg was over the road with frequent buses into town taking approx 20 mins. All public transport in Luxembourg is free so we visited town in the evening for some lovely food.
