We had an excellent three-night stay at Riff Hikkaduwa. The staff were very attentive and always greeted us with a smile. The food was exceptional, with a wide variety of options to suit all culinary tastes. The rooftop bar and, in particular, the Japanese restaurant are a feather in the hotel’s cap.

An amazing hotel with wonderful staff , the owner, the general manager and every one of the staff were so attentive. Service was exceptional. The location was fantastic with access straight onto a fabulous beach. The restaurant offered an excellent choice at very reasonable prices compared to England . All rooms have a balcony with a view of the Indian Ocean . I can’t wait to come back and highly recommend

Очень редко оставляю отзыв, но этот отель не могу оставить без внимания. Отдыхали с 21.11.24 по 01.12.24. С погодой очень не повезло((( Из всех дней, было солнечных около 2-3, остальные дни практически каждый день был дождь и пасмурно. Но отель скрасил всё наше впечатление об отдыхе своим сервисом, качеством и отношением к туристам. Пообщавшись с туристами из других отелей, сделали вывод, что это самый лучший отель в Хиккадуве, а возможно и вообще на всём побережье. Мы много где отдыхали и нам есть с чем сравнить, но этот отель выше всех похвал! Персонал очень улыбчивый, всегда старается угодить и всё делает для комфортного отдыха туристов. Познакомились с владельцем отеля - МЕГА позитивный и добрый человек, хорошо говорит по-русски. У него свои чайные плантации и при отеле есть магазин этого чая. При разговоре с ним, сказали что наша мама очень любит крепкий чёрный чай, так он нам подарил целых 2 пачки разного чая. Это безумно приятно🙏 У нас была годовщина свадьбы, которую мы решили отметить в японском ресторане на последнем этаже. Нам подарили бутылку шампанского и маленький тортик со свечкой и поздравлением. Это очень было неожиданно и приятно! По поводу кухни это вообще отдельная тема! Ресторанная подача блюд и безумно всё вкусно. У нас были включены только завтраки, т.к. хотели попробовать местную кухню и покушать в разных заведениях. Лучше и вкуснее еды (чем в нашем отеле) мы не нашли. Мы пробовали кушать в разных кафе и ресторанах на побережье и поняли, что ресторан при отеле самый лучший. Многие туристы из других отелей приходили кушать именно в наш отель. Уборка в номере каждый день. Всё чисто, полотенце меняли каждый день и всегда следили, чтобы в номере была вода. Единственное, что мне не хватало - это каких-нибудь лебедей или слоников из полотенца😃 Но это всё мелочи, на которые точно не стоит обращать внимания) В качестве комплимента в последний день нашего отдыха, отель нам подарил бесплатный ужин. Такого отношения, мы не встречали не в одном отеле! Хочу сказать огромное спасибо персоналу отеля за обслуживание и отзывчивость, шеф повору ресторана за такие изысканные и вкусные блюда и отдельное спасибо управляющему за такое приятное и доброе отношение к туристам. Всем рекомендую этот отель! Не капли не пожалели, что выбрали именно Riff Hikkaduva!

Hidden Gem
So happy to have found this boutique hotel for the last day in Srilanka. The sushi restaurant had no digital menu on their IG account and had a very long wait time for orders but presuming that's because it was very quiet not many guests... Aside from that, beautiful experience in Hikkaduwa!

We loved it and went back.
This was our second stay on our trip in Sri Lanka as we enjoyed the hotel so much the first time.
Lovely comfortable rooms. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. We dined in both restaurants and the food was excellent in each one. The rooftop bar has a really nice vibe to enjoy the stunning sunsets/cocktails.
Would totally recommend if in this area.
