A lovely oasis of calmness a short tuk tuk ride from the main tourist area. An even shorter walk takes you to a nice beach with a couple of restaurants. Our room was lovely and just a few steps away from the swimming pool and beautiful gardens. We have changed our plans for the remainder of our trip and will return to this beautiful place in a couple of weeks. Jay the manager couldn’t do enough for us. He was so very kind and made our stay here a fantastic experience. We loved Arcadia. It was absolutely perfect.

Best place in Hikkaduwa! Nice quiet place, very close to wverything you need, 2 swimming pools, friendly staff who is always happy to help. Everything was amazing here. Will definitely come back next time

The bungalow is located in the non-touristic part of Hikkaduwa, away from the tourist attractions, restaurants, shops are very far away. To reach a good beach about an hour. The manager, who is also a receptionist, who is also a cleaner, speaks very little English and does not speak German at all, which made it difficult to ask for anything. When leaving, he hinted at a tip and asked for a good review. Plumbing does not work in the room, the shower flows, the toilet does not drain normally. There are no mosquito nets on the windows and because of this there are a lot of mosquitoes in the room. We asked using a kitchen in the house but were rejected. The manager said the kitchen is not for visitors. Despite, he offered an outside kitchen which was tiny, without equipment. Gas container was empty so, we couldn't cook.
