Very accommodating momma pop establishment. Some very nice touches with the built in bar. The place is spotless! They make good coffee in the morning. A BBQ is available and they supply charcoal. Across the street is a market to meet your needs.

I stayed here while riding the BDRx for the Black Hills. This is the spot to stay. It is central to all the rides, and offers tons of amenities. Including great hosts, sitting outside to visit after a long ride, and great rooms. My room was clean, comfortable and relaxing. I highly recommend staying here for any occasion.

Super location in Hill City, central for exploring the Black Hills. Friendly, family run motel. Clean, tidy and very reasonable rates. Grocery store right across the road and great access to the 1880 train, Mickelson trail and everything Hill City has to offer.

The lantern inn is very welcoming and a quant, cozy, newly renovated hotel. The owners gave a great customer experience, and invited us to join around the fire table. Highly recommend staying here. This is our second stay here and definitely will be back.

We so enjoyed our 5 night stay at this well kept property in Hill City.
The owners are super nice and anxious to accommodate any needs.
Would like to visit the Black Hills again and would be glad to stay here.

Such a neat place to stay. It’s so cozy tucked in off the road. Looks recently updated. The room was perfect for us. It was so clean. The shower was a nice size, bathroom was small but was all we needed. The bed was super comfortable. Parking was great. The owners were very friendly. We walked to town I would definitely stay here again.
