I don't know if it is because the first floor, or Florida is too humid, anyway, there is a musty smell when entering the door. The room is quite big and the facilities are a bit old. The front desk is a bit indifferent compared to other hotels. Breakfast is similar, classic American. Stayed for two nights and slept the worst since coming to the United States. It's not noisy around, but the room doesn't feel very comfortable. There is a swimming pool, I haven't used it. I don't know how the score came from.

Due to the special period, the first time I stayed at this hotel, the overall is good, the hotel is good, but there is a smell of ”pet” in the room. Unfortunately, the shampoo and body soap in the room have reached the bottom of the bottle. The conditioner has an empty bottle. We couldn't meet the normal bathing use of these. Hotel location is good, hotel lobby, room layout is in place, the overall look is a bit old, hotel breakfast is OK, continental breakfast, the hotel website indicates that you can check in at 3:00 pm every day, but we arrived at the hotel at 3:30, the front desk told us that the computer was slow, Asked us to wait a little longer. At this time, I saw many customers coming in from outside the hotel to the front desk. The customer service quickly checked in. We waited until more than four o'clock in the afternoon. Some were anxious. I asked the front desk customer service again. The customer service said that I would wait a while and I had already responded to the manager. It was about 4:15. The front desk customer service checked in for us. Due to our special circumstances, the front desk asked the customer service if we could delay our check-out until 1:00 when we checked in the room late today. The front desk customer service replied that we could not have to check out at 12:00. Very helpless, Unsatisfactory hotel terms specifically bind guests staying, do not constrain the management level of the hotel, home away from home is the service tenet of the hotel! I hope that the hotel will improve the awareness of customer service for the stay!

Stayed here for 4 nights. Excellent staff; everyone was very pleasant and professional. Had a problem with our room lock so had to move to another room. Toilets are way too low (unless you are very short). Why would a hotel renovate and not update to high toilets? Water pressure was low. Nice feature was the shampoo, conditioner & gel attached to wall. No maid service unless requested ( did not realize this as not told when checked in) only a sign posted. Room very clean and updated. Free breakfast good but ran out of bacon both days that we ate there. Parking fine and always managed to find a space.

Topgolf and Westfield Brandon shops are a mile away, and downtown's Riverwalk and the Port Tampa Bay cruise terminals are a 15-minute drive. Fuel up on free hot breakfast before a day at Busch Gardens, 20 minutes from the hotel, or check out our outdoor pool when it's time to unwind. WiFi's on us.

One bedroom apartment with a view of the bay. Clean pool, firepit and sand area for beach volleyball. No actual bay swimming, but you are not far from the beaches. Great staff that are pleasant and courteous. Full kitchen with dishwashers. Yes, the bathrooms can be updated but they are clean. Queen size bed in the bedroom and a pull out couch in the living room. For 2 it suits our needs. Close to Yankee Spring Training, the airport and several beaches. Housekeeping has a schedule that has been changed by Covid, but housekeeping is always bringing fresh towels for our use. No pet policy is fine with us!!

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel to leave my car and fly to the Caribbean from Tampa Airport and on my return as well. I was stunned. It is by far the nicest Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in hundreds!!! It is beautiful and the staff could not have been any friendlier or nicer or more helpful. The breakfast was the best as well. The shuttle was on time and nice and runs every half hour 24 hours a day which I had to have due to such an early flight. It was a wonderful Hampton experience!!! Thank you to all the staff!!! I will always stay there for all my flights out of Tampa Airport.

GGuest UserI chose this Marriott because of the indoor/outdoor pool area! Perfect because it was pouring rain when I arrived and I really wanted to go swimming. The front desk was super friendly and helpful. The free shuttle was convenient and the driver was funny and talkative. I got the business concierge balcony room. Big tv and nice balcony. Used the concierge lounge for breakfast. It was convenient and the food was decent. The on-site restaurant was a little expensive and the food was just OK but the cocktails were great!My stay was perfect for a pre-cruise night.

GGuest UserI stay in hotels frequently and I have status with both Hilton and Marriott but I would consider Marriott my day ones as throughout my career and travel heavy periods of my life, Marriott has been a mainstay. Based on the frequency with which I stay at hotels, as well as the understanding that staffing and supply chain shortages are making service more difficult than ever, I just had to commend this location. Though it’s an older location, the rooms are renovated, I was upgraded to a suite, the rates were phenomenal, parking was convenient, and the location could not be beat. But even better than that, every staff member, from Yuni at the front desk to the cleaning crew to the restaurant lounge staff, was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and provided memorable service. I’m adding this hotel to my list of favorites and it will be a mainstay during my frequent business trips in Tampa. Thanks again! It almost felt like pre-Covid times. #Hospitality2022

CClarissaWe stopped and stayed here after a trip we were on was extended a day and we had an early flight to catch. Check in was quick and easy. The beds were comfortable and the location was great as it was minutes to the airport, which was great with a 6 am flight with 3 kids and 7 people total. Our only complaint was the laundromat services were only available until 9. We spent the day at the beach and just planned to wash and pack our beach things once we had come back from dinner. Once we got back from dinner the hotel laundromat was about to close. There was a coin mat about mins up the road , so it wasnt the hugest inconvenience, but it would have been nice to have the on site laundromat available 24 hours or even until midnight. We travel for sports a lot and this is the first time we have encountered this.

Then, we had some people racing their motorcycles nearby and calls to the front desk to report/request police help were met with disbelief since I couldn't tell them exactly where the motorcyles were - I did tell her to step outside and she'd hear it.... The hotel itself is charming, clean & nicely decorated, other staff were terrific so maybe this was just an ”off” night....

MMeganThe service at this hotel was excellent. We had quite a few problems with the cleanliness and other things and the front desk were straight over to help us change rooms and bring us anything we needed. The pool area was so lovely and they had great amenities and a restaurant available in the hotel. If they could sort out the cleanliness of the rooms (the floors had clearly not been mopped ever and there was a tick in our bed), it would be one of the best hotels for the price.

GGuest UserRoom was full of health and safety concerns. Reserved a non-smoking room and the room reeked of smoke and other odors. Bathroom had tile falling off the walls. Black water stains running down the bathtub. Bathtub was rusted out. Feces still in the toilet. Ceiling flaking off across the entire room. Mattress was caved in where it appeared that someone sat for a very long time watching TV. There was no smoke alarm in the room. Chair was damaged as if a cat lived in the room. Did not stay, but was concerned for our safety to go back to the front desk to ask for a refund.
