Not a bed place very quite

Oh my days!!!!!! Please don't waste your money!! Absolutely disgusting needs fumigating if not knocking down altogether. On arrival carpark looked like waste ground - litter everywhere and overgrown weeds The sign that says photo id is required should have been a given away. Shabby rooms, dirty bathrooms, torn carpets, peeling wallpaper, mould and damp everywhere. Asked for a drink in the bar at 3pm and was told no! We have a private function this evening! Day staff were awful, have no customer service experience at all. Toilets in the main area were vile, broken toilet seats, no toilet paper and absolutely teeming with bugs. I slept fully clothed on top of the bed incase of unwanted visitors. We were out of there by 9am and I've never felt so dirty in my life. My husband has now banned me from booking hotels but I have snuck a sneaky luxury holiday to Beirut next year.

Hell on earth!!!! DO NOT STAY!!!!!! Mould in rooms, smelt like wee and **** People being sick outside hotel though drinking to much Bed sheets had blood in Felt unsafe in hotel Punch holes in doors The list is endless Checked in and checked out within the hour Please do not stay here

Couldn't get the lights to come and sat in the dark (all of the time there) or get the TV to work.when the TV finally came on couldn't change the channels or volume. Had to use the toilet in darkness and toilet didn't flush(took ages in the end until it worked) Wanted to stay the night but left over a couple of hours. As we were leaving,others were complaining. Want a refund,not happy about our stay.

If I didn’t know better I would say the owners are deliberately running the property down. It was truly awful. I stayed here because I refused to pay £207 to stay at the village hotel and the copthorne was full. It is dated, carpet torn in the hallways, mainly contractors staying there who don’t have a swearing filter. They don’t serve breakfast. You go to the local pub for an all you can eat buffet. For those of you who remember the programme crossroads, it was worse than that!

Avoid if you possibly can. I didn't read any reviews and booked this on the morning I stayed thinking that I had booked a pub/hotel just down the road. On entering the car park I knew I had made a mistake; the building looks dilapidated and most of the windows looked like smoked glass. Checking is was easy and the clerk was pleasant enough. The room was awful; dirty carpet with muck around the edges, stains on the walls and ceiling, mould around the bath, cold water tap didnt work, repairs that had been made were bodged. There was a strong smell of smoke coming from some of the rooms. The outside furniture consisted of a picnic bench which was occupied by three guys smoking and drinking cans of lager. Awful, awful, awful.

Bath was not cleaned. Bin not emptied.
