Situated only a couple of minutes walk from Hondori shopping street and about 10 minutes walk, depending on if you’re a snail pace walker or someone who walks as fast as an angry mother who’s about to complain to the school board about something, from the Peace Memorial Park lies Santiago Guest House. A hostel that is a bit of a pain to find with it only being sign posted by those hanging signs attached to high rise buildings that are literally everywhere in Japan. With said buildings hosting separate businesses on each floor, it may stress you out finding it but upon entry the stress will go bye bye from its general aesthetically pleasing outlook. A modern and polished looked hostel who’s reception lies right next the common room and kitchen area, giving everyone in there a look at the fresh meat coming in. The common area and reception give a friendly vibe out from the on set with bean bags, couches, two TVs (one with a PlayStation 3) and shelves holding games and cuddly toys for you to spoon like they’re your partner whilst watching a rom com on Netflix. Generally the 6th floor where there is one dorm room and the kitchen and common area is quality. The kitchen is a little small in size but it does the job plus you’re in Japan where bento boxes are a way of life. Plus you can always just jaunt to the local supermarket- Yours- between 8:15 – 8:40pm where the bento boxes, salad and sushi goes half price, which the foreign helpers for free accommodation do pretty much every night. Love this hotel - we have stayed here several times on trips to Hiroshima and it's always great value for money for a family of four. The multi-lingual staff are amazingly polite and helpful. The views from the room were once again absolutely spectacular. Last time we looked right over Hiroshima castle. This time we woke up to sunrise over Hiroshima bay. Would 100% recommend for a family of four like ours. The parking (Hiroshima Credo Motomachi) can be a little tricky to find - there are some good videos on youtuibe that show how to get to the entrance.

Comfortable beds and pillows, plus lots of amenities to choose from like fans, humidifiers, irons, etc... Nice public bath and sauna. A bit far from public transportation though. Two fast elevators, so no waiting. Good housekeeping.

The hotel is not far from the station. There is a river next to it, and there are trails beside the river for a walk. The only pity is that the room I stayed in this time did not have a view of the river, but only a street view.

I'd say the nicest hotel I've stayed in during my two weeks in Japan. The hotel is a 10min walk from the station. Rooms are comfortable and have enough room for luggage. On my last night I wanted to take advantage of the onsen. Two of the younger members of staff were hesitant to allow me access. They brought to my attention the on-site rules which highlight that it would be unsuitable for people with tattoos (I have several large visible ones) to use the onsen. I do not remember this being highlighted on the trip.com website, otherwise I would not have booked. However another female member of staff (presumably the manager) intervened and stated because I was from overseas it should not be a problem. I really did enjoy my time using the spring baths. ¥150 well spent. Thanks again to her 😊

If you stay at a business hotel with three families, there are many places to add extra beds to the twin room, but this hotel has an adjacent twin room and a double room in the room connectivity There was a connecting room connected by the gingdoor, so it was very comfortable to stay with family 3 people. The bathroom used a large twin room and the toilet used both. Breakfast buffet was not luxurious, but it was a good content for the price. The hotel parking lot is on the 4th floor ～ 8th floor of EKI City Hiroshima opposite the hotel. Going to 1F by B elevator from the parking lot and going out in front of the hotel. Parking fee is 1,200 yen per night and will be paid at the hotel front desk at check-in. It is not a luxurious hotel, but it is located in a good location to access the station, there is also a parking lot, and the accommodation fee and breakfast fee were cheap, and it was able to stay in a clean and relaxing room. I thought it was a very good hotel considering the cost performance.

Great location by the Inland Sea, and for departures to Miyajima Island, but 30 minutes from the city highlights. Club Lounge food choices were poor - little variety, and very plain. No Japanese choices. Buffet was great, in a top floor location with an amazing view.

A mysterious hotel like a central blowout, between a condominium and a business hotel. Not Wi-Fi as you comment. Others have large liquid crystal televisions, dryers, room coolers, and the minimum necessary is available. The window was not a net door, and the insect was scared and hesitated to open. Breakfast is not many items, especially Hiroshima specialty, but it is usually delicious.
