Hiroshima Capsule Hotel & Sauna New Japan EX - Caters to Men Reviews

With hotel prices in Hiroshima city skyrocketing during Golden Week, capsule hotels were the only option. I actually stayed there about 10 years ago on a student trip, and it was much cleaner than that time. There was also a sauna boom, and it seems that many sauna guests were staying there. I saw many students staying in small groups. Needless to say, the sauna was very nice. This was our 6th night stay while traveling around the country, and it was a great way to relieve the fatigue from the long journey. The disadvantages are that depending on the location of the capsule, it can be bright and the sounds coming and going can be noisy. This time, I was in front of the passage door, so I was woken up by the sounds of people coming and going until after 1am, and students were talking at normal volume even in the capsule area...I ended up wearing earplugs at the front desk. I rented it and slept there. Since the price is low, it can't be helped. Also, the food and drinks at the hotel restaurant are expensive. I guess that's what it is, but I think the cost performance is poor for the amount and taste of the meal. If you are concerned about this, it is better to eat and drink outside (although it would be best if you could drink beer without worrying about the price in your hotel clothes after the sauna). Overall it was an interesting experience. Hotel prices in Hiroshima fluctuate wildly, so depending on the conditions, it may be an option for you as a place to stay.
