The Sheraton Grand Hiroshima Hotel delivers from beginning to end regarding service and location. I had the chance to stay one night in early June before heading next morning to Okunoshima, and it was highly worth it. Next to Hiroshima Station, this location is a must. In addition, the quality of service provided by each member, either at the front desk or Club Lounge, was excellent. Daisuke in the Club Lounge was helpful and went above and beyond to assist during my stay. Regarding the room, I highly recommend booking a Club Level room or suite. The panoramic views of Hiroshima are amazing, but the room is exceptionally comfortable. I had the chance to stay in a suite, approximately 750 sq. ft., which was quite comfortable, especially the bed. The bathroom was spacious, and the bathtub was worth it after a long day or walk in the city. I also recommend the spa facilities in the hotel. If you pay around 1,650 Yen, you can use the pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, and cold bath. This is a great activity to relax and disconnect from reality fully. I enjoyed my time there and would return if I had the chance. Overall, it was a great stay, and thankful for the generosity and excellent customer service provided by the team in this hotel.

Very easy and convenient to book on Trip.com. Hotel location is very convenient as it is less than 19 minutes walk from the Hiroshima Station. Room was clean and cosy. Reception staff was friendly and helpful.

From the north exit of Hiroshima station, you go down the stairs in front of you on the way and go to the sidewalk on the ground, and when you go over, you go to the other side of Futaba Dori street. The hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the Peace Park and a 30-minute walk from JR Hiroshima Station, nearby there is a large FUJI GRAND supermarket and a DON QUIJOTE discount store. Newly renovated rooms in European style. Blackout curtains, soft wide beds, good sleep. There is a niche under the bed to store a suitcase, which is very convenient. Spacious bathroom with shower, good water pressure, but it is difficult to adjust the water temperature, cold water suddenly flows, very unpleasant. The air conditioner made an unpleasant noise when operating, the room was immediately changed. The windows do not open at all, but there is a supply ventilation valve. Slippers, bathrobes, and disposable supplies are provided. There are washing machines and dryers on the 3rd floor; laundry detergent can be obtained from the reception. The breakfast is excellent, there are many Asian dishes, also boiled vegetables and neutral foods without spices. It's a pity that they don't provide drinking water for guests, only a vending machine in the lobby. There is also a microwave in the lobby. The staff is very polite and tries to help resolve issues.

We stayed in Hotel Vista for 2 nights, it was around a 7-10 minute tram ride on the 1,2 or 6 tram and a 5 minute walk to get there from Hiroshima station. It is situated a couple of minutes away from the main shopping area and a 15 minute walk from the Atomic Dome. The room was well sized, clean and comfortable, the staff were also friendly. This is the perfect place to base yourself in Hiroshima.

The hostel is modern and has all the required amenities of kitchen, laundry and friendly staff. My private room with ensuite/bathroom was quite a lot larger than I expected (compared to Japanese standards), with a queen bed and small counter area with seat. The location was fairly central with walking distance to the Museum, Park and castle areas. Plus close to restaurants. Highly recommend WeBase for anyone staying in Hiroshima.

It is a short walk from Chuden-mae Station on the Hiroden line. The Hiroden line map is a bit complicated, so it took a while to get there, but it was close to the Peace Museum, the Atomic Bomb Dome, and restaurants, so we had no trouble. As you would expect from a Dormy Inn, the late-night noodles, amenities, breakfast, and hot springs do not disappoint. The hot springs are a bit smaller than other Dormy Inns, and the open-air baths are also small. The breakfast was good, with local ingredients such as conger eel rice, momiji buns, and lemon water. However, the area where the momiji buns were placed was not very noticeable, so I missed out on eating them.

The bedlinen is super soft to sleep on. Nice river views too right in front of my room. Love the location too. Very close to all the attraction I needed to go. We love this hotel very much. Thumb up for this hotel.

The room was larger, nicer, and cheaper than the 4 star places I stayed at in Kyoto and Tokyo. The view from the room I had was great - high up and facing peace memorial park. The park itself was only a few minutes walk away, and the hotel was nearby many shops and transport. Really great budget choice.

PROS: Unbeatable central location in Hiroshima with large, clean rooms and great views of the city. The rooms were reasonably priced. CONS: This hotel is extremely dated and ultimately this impacted on the comfort of our stay - neither of us slept well on any night due to very old bed/pillows. They were also strict about their 15.00 check in time (seemingly regardless of whether our room was ready or not). This led to unnecessary queues from 15.00 onwards. Overall, would book elsewhere if staying again for more than 1 night in Hiroshima.
