Amazing location, tucked away between a nature reserve with an oak forest and a little sea bay in with cold, deep waters. The camp itself is cute but feels a little worn and unloved, like it was once built by enthusiastic hippies and then more or less left to fend for itself. Broken old furniture and iffy fixtures were dotted here and there in an otherwise beautiful scenery. We stayed in a tiny cabin where the double bed in fact was a squeaky foldable sofa, hard as a rock to sleep on. I’m not a fussy guest but prices were a little steep for the standard offered. The sauna cost SEK 100 and a derelict-looking washing machine cost SEK 80 to use. Showers didn’t work, and I can see that there would be queues to the toilets during high season. During our visit however, they were clean enough and there was no toilet paper problem. To sum up, it could be worth your while for the natural scenery, if you’re not too picky with the details and avoid the busiest weeks. In the end, I was pretty happy to pay 100 kronor to share a leaky wood-fired sauna with a dozen friendly Germans and cool off in the deep icy water just outside.

We booked and paid for a cabin with beds. Got an old smelly caravan right next to their office. No privacy at all and just not what we expected or paid for. Can NOT recommend its a scam. It was not possible to get accomadation anywhere else… we suspect the property owner knew that.
