Riverside Hotel In Saigon

I had to catch a flight the next morning, so I just found this hotel to stay for a few hours. The room smelled musty and damp. Apart from the good location, I can't seem to find a reason to stay here again next time.

Overall it was good.

I made a guide for one night and found a dozen hotels for comparison. I really wanted to try this historic hotel. In the end, it was really worth the money.

This hotel has a good location, but the environment is very poor, everything is very old, and there is no room card, you have to use the key to open the door, the breakfast is OK, but anyway, I don't recommend changing places at this price, you can do a very new one

The hotel is old. This is both a plus and a minus. A lot has been redone in it, but the smell of old age and dampness remains. It is interesting to wander around it, but this is entertainment for an hour, so you can stay for a few days. The entrance to the hotel is good, the front door. In front of the entrance is an open square, an alley and an embankment. Food: + good breakfast. There are fruits, vegetables, pastries. For this star rating and price, the breakfast is good. Room: Clean. But very noisy. At 5 am, some kind of turbine turns on and makes a lot of noise. The doors are flimsy, which is unsafe. The windows in the room are wooden, old with cracks, + with bars, naturally, in addition to the noise from the turbine, there is noise from the street, wind, rain. There is a refrigerator in the room, it even freezes, unlike others, but it is also noisy. They give tea, coffee, water, + soap and toiletries. In general, you can stay for a few days.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, but I chose it because it was in a great location and was very cost-effective. However, while there was no problem with my room, a guest's room had a cockroach under the pillow of the bed, and when I asked the hotel to deal with it, they simply sprayed insecticide under the bed, which did not solve the problem, and the guest became furious and moved to a different hotel. I also stayed at this hotel after the guest moved to a different hotel, but the service from the two front desk staff (one male and one female) was very poor, which was disappointing. (The service from the young front desk female staff and the two male doormen was good, so I feel very disappointed.)

Stayed for 6 days. The hotel house is very historical. You can stay in this hotel when traveling on business!
