Awesome stay at this brand new hotel. Pool on roof top really is one of a kind. Hotel staff at the breakfast was super attentive. Only bad comments I would say is 1) when I went to the gym, they asked me to take off my shoes - which is really dangerous in a gym setting. We should always have shoes on. 2) front desk tried to double charge me on my room. Luckily I checked the card receipt they were showing me and it wasn’t my card number. Please be vigilant when checking out. 3) staff English was quite poor - this needs improvement especially when dealing with international guests.

Upon check in, tea & snacks were served by the staffs. After you’re done, a staff would bring you to your room. Our initial room had a faulty lock so we called for service but there were communication challenges, as the staff couldn’t understand English well, and her tone was harsh and annoyed. When she came to the room, she realised the issue, called the servicing team to fix it. About 3-4 guys came but couldn’t fix it. We waited quite a while because they took turns to fix. They eventually got us a different room and the lock could work. Despite the hiccup, the other staffs were friendly & welcoming. Breakfast spread was good too.

We were greeted upon arrival by the staff who were lovely and provided us with welcome drinks. The check in process was smooth however our room was not ready so we were unable to check in. They kept our luggage for us and we went and sat by the pool. Don't be fooled by the pictures of the pool it is actually extremely small with only 6 sunbeds around the actual pool area. Half of the pool is under the shade. There is another terrace upstairs with sunbeds but you are away from the pool and some parts shaded. We stayed in a family suite which was extremely spacious and clean. The breakfast had a good selection and catered to everyone there. The location is roughly around a 10 minute walk from Bui Vein Walking street which isn't too bad once you navigate the traffic. Due to the size of Ho Chi Minh it is extremely difficult to get your bearings especially if you are only staying a few days. Overall I would stay in this hotel again.

This was our second stay at the hotel and it was a definite improvement on the first stay. We were upgraded to an Executive room which was much nice than the first. The room was on the 7th floor, it was light and bright and a lot more room. The pool had been cleaned but was still not totally mould free. Breakfast is nice if you get in early otherwise there is nothing left. They don’t seem to restock it. There is a great variety of choice from western omelette to Vietnamese soup to rice porridge. They do cater well. There are still small things to improve on but a great step up. The receptionist was very helpful and we were able to extend our stay till the evening as we had a late flight home. Right near the market if that’s your thing but also close to sights and restaurants.

Very old & tired room, mouldy bathroom, tap water. Our standing shower water didn't run smoothly, always got flooded and takes a while to drain out the water. Good point is their location is perfect for muslim traveller, whole stretch of the street opposite of halal muslim restaurant. Situated at the well known Malaysian street. Helpful staff assisting us with our luggage upon arrival & check out. Friendly staff (the guy with a spec) who checked us in. Do take note hotel doesn't have any universal adaptor & therefore we had to purchase 1 from the shop outside. And only 1 lift to accommodate hotel guests access to every level which runs really really slow. Restaurant place for breakfast is really small to accommodate the huge crowd. We came down at 630am and the place is really crowded. Halal breakfast with varieties of choice to eat. Before coming here, I heard Aluna has revamp the hotel but sadly not really clean and really outdated room. Maybe a pass for this.

During a delightful week with my family at Sedona Suites, we experienced remarkable warmth and hospitality from the entire staff. From the moment we arrived, their attention to detail, cleanliness, and comfort left a lasting impression on all of us. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Anthony and the exceptional team for making our stay so memorable.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Hotel in Saigon on June 7th 2024, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel's prime location, luxurious amenities, and impeccable service made my stay truly memorable. ***Accommodations: The room was spacious, modern, and immaculately clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view of the city from my window was stunning. The bathroom was well-equipped with high-quality toiletries, and the rainfall shower was a delightful touch. ***Dining: The hotel's dining options were fantastic. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, catering to all tastes. I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit and the local Vietnamese cuisine options. ***Amenities: The amenities at the Hilton Hotel Saigon were top-notch. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the swimming pool was an oasis of relaxation along with a gorgeous city view. ***Service: The service at this hotel was impeccable. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to assist with any request. I would like to extend a special thanks to the concierge team, including Hoàng, Phúc, Quyền, Thọ, Tuấn, Quang, and Mr.Kiên (Cheif Conceeirge). Their recommendations for local attractions, dining options, and transportation were invaluable. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. In conclusion, the Hilton Hotel Saigon exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Saigon for business or leisure. I will certainly return on my next trip to this vibrant city.

Pros: -Central location: right above Takashiyama mall, very convenient to explore famous sights in Saigon, walking distance in evening to Quảng Trường Nguyễn Huệ. Takashiyama malls has plenty of food, coffee and shopping options -Service: hotel staff friendly and welcoming, helped us with check-out / luggage; staff helped us arrange spa services not far from hotel -Check-in: quick check-in service despite arriving late in the day -Room: comfortable bed, good amount of space for work in the room (one long desk plus a breakout area with two high chairs) -Complimentary drinks in the room (soft drinks, water, beer) -Staff went above and beyond to arrange a spare room one of the evenings to take a call -Swimming pool with a nice view; wasn’t too busy Cons: -priced quite close to larger 5* hotels however felt like overall service and facilities more akin to a smaller boutique hotel (eg no one greeting you outside of hotel when just check in, not clear if hotel has a spa) -Room design: high floor however design of room made it feel quite dark vs a panoramic view

The hotel is in an excellent location, convenient for travel, clean and beautiful, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, making it very suitable for tourists with children. The receptionists, housekeeping staff and doormen were all super friendly, helpful and friendly. In addition, it only takes about 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to Penang Market and halal restaurants. In short, the service is really good. I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe Odys is a tricky one for us to review. Overall we stayed 3 nights during our trip, 2 nights together then a break and a further night after a trip to the mekong. The hotel itself is quite nice.. nothing really wrong with it as such, the rooms were clean and had everything in there like all the others we've stayed in during our time in Vietnam. I wouldn't really call the Odys a ”Boutique” hotel but that's a matter of opinion.. but where we feel the Odys was a let down in this regard was that ”personal” feeling. Earlier in our trip we stayed in many places and all of them without question made us feel like we'd been before.. and in the case of multiple nights and multiple visits indeed the return welcome felt very personal (Bonsella.. you are the best in this regard during our trip!). The staff in reception were pleasant and polite but but it did seem very ”clinical” in approach? Maybe the city thing? But in our opinion it was a little too sterile feeling for a ”boutique” hotel. Breakfast in the hotel was fine, with the usual options available but the staff in the restaurant were our least preferred of the whole trip (anywhere in Vietnam), they were disorganised to say the least.. There were plenty of them around but service wasn't exactly the best. We did take advantage of one of the offers for the restaurant one night, booking a table by the side for a good city view. When we arrived that evening we find that the table we booked had been given to someone else, and in fact there was no mention of our booking. We waited and before long another suitable table became available. After eating we got the bill, and queried why the offer wasn't applied. We were told in order to get the offer we needed to book a table beforehand, this was by the very same person who led us to the table after finding out our booked table had already been given to someone else. It was sorted out, but this is just one of many examples of the staff not being the best. Oddly enough it was also the only place in Vietnam where we struggled with staff not being able to speak English (very few seemed to?), this took us by surprise as even in the remote locations in the north this didn't seem an issue. So In summary, we think this hotel is ok for the night, but that boutique feel is not there, its much more of a large hotel kind of feeling.

AAmy823The room is very big. Because I don't like noise, I chose a windowless room. It's quite quiet.
But one side of the bed sank slightly at night, and when you turn over while sleeping, there will be a sound of the bed's wood, right? (It’s just a little noisy
The air conditioning is very strong👍👍
The breakfast is also delicious, although there are not many dishes, it is acceptable and it is very close to Penang Market.

Kkim soojinI was looking for a cost-effective hotel for a one-night stay in Ho Chi Minh City and went there after reading the reviews. They say the location is difficult, but we took a lot of taxis and had no trouble finding it at all.
I walked to the Central Post Office and Reunification Palace, and Ben Thanh Market seemed not far away.
The hotel lobby is on the second floor and there are stairs, but the bellboys carried all our luggage up.
The lobby staff, bellboy staff, restaurant staff, and cleaning staff are all very friendly.
The facilities are good overall, but the water in the sink drained a little late, and the shower was a little yellow. Still, the water pressure wasn't bad.
Breakfast has everything, including eggs (fried food, omelet), cereal, bread, butter, bacon, ham, fruit, drinks, and tea. Bread... I just ate baguette bread. How delicious is it...
Next time I go to Ho Chi Minh City, I plan to visit again!

GGuest UserI liked everything very much, convenient location, bus stop nearby, market, shops, exchange offices, shopping center. The room is clean, cozy, but there is one minus for us, there is not always hot water, from morning to lunch definitely not, and at this time it was just needed. But this did not prevent us from having a good time in this place

GGuest UserFriendliness “5” Cleaning “5” (except pool) Rooms “4” Breakfast “5” Communication with regular staff “1” Amount of technical issues solved “1” Warm water in shower “1” Response from receptionist “3.5”Value for money “5” Hotel qualities : Nice name and nice lobby, good looking entrance, nice rooms and , great breakfast and many facilities. “But boy” they surely have many issues and plenty of space for improvement ! I experienced tons of issues with staff .That mostly came from very low or mostly zero understanding of English. Also technical issues such as i moved rooms twice due to the room phones or Tv did not work. (So stayed in 3 rooms in one week, they did upgrade me though, to room with a window) Noting when I first came to bathroom the floor looked extremely dirty sport all over the floor, I think staff must have forgotten to clean, first I felt discouraged so I took the free toothbrush put soap on it to see if could removed the hundreds of spots, I could not, so I guess someone spilled chemical or something that the tiles could not “resist”? Later I saw other bathroom floors look exactly the same, so I was right, some fault with the tiles they used, cuz two other bathrooms I saw later had other floor tiles with no issues. Also it happen a few times we ask staff to clean room and they forgot it? Sometimes they just come give water or toilet paper and forget water & coffee 🧐 First room I stay in Tv and Netflix worked fine , but room phone dead, next room TVs Netflix out of order as well as room phone dead. A “technician” was sent to room (Zero English) didn’t fix the issues Change room again , the staff then told us that Netflix has not worked for 1-2 years in hotel (despite it did work in first room🤣) Third room also issues with Tv Netflix YouTube “technician” came and had zero as in ZERO English also Zero knowledge how to fix Netflix, did not understand simple word “Log out” he also unable to fix the TV problems. Finally I fixed it my self. More issues: Pool very unkept very green , pool area dirty and spa pool no bobbles? Pool was later cleaned up👏 There were many small ants in room on 10 floor. I asked 3 times for iron and was promised they bring one to my room, it never came so my wife picked it up herself. The two managers I meet Amanda & Ken speaks perfect English and are trying to be very helpful, but their job gets impossible with their poorly or un trained staff. I would recommend you arrange free English classes for general staff if you wanna attract more foreigners. I will publish my final review after checking out😘🧐

DDiệu NhiênWe are a family with 1 small baby. The rooms here are comfortably furnished and very clean. Location right in the center of District 1, not on the main road but the alley is very wide, cars park right up to the door. The whole house has an elevator. What I love most here is the very quiet space and super comfortable bed. You can rest assured that you will have a good night's sleep here. We will stay again if we come to Saigon

GGuest UserThis hotel is ok. It is below three star. I would rather be I a basic hostel that is clean than a hotel with my own room, if the room needs a check on cleanliness. There were bugs. The shower curtain has mildew. I did not want to touch it. I chose to seep in my silk sleeping bag (liner) instead of using the bedding. Since the hotels are not full, it is better to ask to see the room before putting your money down. Of course this hotel is affordable, however there are nicer hotels that are cost more and the cost less. they put in these spa like bth tubs. the would be nice if the shower curtain was clean or of caulk attached the spa tub to the wall. If the water goes behind the tub, I just wonder. How do they clean it? Is there mold? I gave the hotel more than one dot because the people there are so nice. There are other hotels within walking distance to Ben Tahh Market. The stairs and the lobby were not kept. There was a mattress o the stairway that made egoism up and down an eye sore. There are tables in the lobby. It looks like meals would be served but I saw no one eating there. I am not sure if this is because of COVID. There is no view, unless you have a deluxe room. Make a request to see the front - this view is urban, so it is just fun to look out but nothing special. Still looking out and seeing a bit of the wy of life in urban Saigon is cool.
