Best Hotels near Sapa silk, crafts & fashion, Ho Chi Minh City

We stayed two nights here in a triple room. The hotel has an elevator. The room was amazing. The bathroom had massage buttons and looked much more complicated than the actual operating. breakfast is on the top floor and has a good choice from fruit to heated food.the hotel is located in the city center and is 300 meters away from the market.there are bars and convenience stores near the hotel. We were really happy with it and plan to stay there when we return to Ho Chi town minutes.

But everything else was ok. I was very pessimistic given the bad reviews that I have read. But I was VERY surprised. The receptionist did speak English and helped with my luggage. The room was as pictured. There was even hot water. There was no drinking water provided though but it wasn't a dealbreaker.

It was a wonderful stay at Le Merdien Saigon. Check in was a breeze and Ms.Hanni who was on duty was professional and able to address the concern on a minor defect in the room toilet. The issue was rectified while I was outside and issue was fixed prior to returning back to the hotel room. Attentive to the details she verified to ensure everything is in order in the next day. Other concerns were also addressed during check-in and also swift arrangement to address some other issues. A wonderful surprise to a fruit platter as well! We also ordered the in room dining food for dinner and it was good, thanks to the wonderful chef who brought the food up. Overall it was a good stay again in Le Meridien and like to compliment the warm hospitality and excellent customer service to Ms. Hanni and also to the manager on duty . Will be back staying at Le Merdien Saigon in the future. A minor feedback to the Global Marriott bonvoy app ( not Vietnam specific) if the room booking could have a list of default options for customer to be notified if the booking is primarily for room only vs room with breakfast vs room with addon (i.e breakfast , etc ) so that customer would be able to know easily during online booking . Current application may be challenging to navigate these options.

Wir haben hier 5 Nächte in einer Park Suite verbracht. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, sah jedoch auf den Bildern anders aus. Wir hatten anscheinend eine Eck-Park-Suite. Der Park ist auch eher versetzt nach rechts als direkt davor. Ein verlängertes recht kahles Stück „Park“ vor dem Hotel ist eingezäunt und eine Baustelle. Auf unserer Etage (8.) gab es noch 7 weitere Zimmer. Wir waren direkt am Fahrstuhl gelegen. Generell sind die Flure sehr klein. Wir dachten erst es würde laut aber dem war überhaupt nicht so. Auch im Zimmer hört man hinter den dicken Fenstern lediglich ein Hintergrundrauschen (Straßenlärm). Dass die Badezimmer im Zimmer sind und nur mit Glas verkleidet ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Es gibt im Hotel aber genug Ausweich-Toiletten um sich gegenseitig mal etwas Privatsphäre zu geben. Wasserhahn an und nicht umdrehen geht für kleine Geschäfte auch :). Schlimmer fanden wir, dass der Vorhang an den Fenstern nicht die komplette Front bedeckt, weil so morgens genau auf das Kopfende die Sonne geschien hat. Das kann man nachbessern, da die Vorhangschiene ja bis hinter läuft. Das Bett war super. Schön fest und groß. Das Houskeeping war sehr gründlich. Es war alles super sauber. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr jung und nett. Das Gym und der Pool, so wie es auf den Bilder präsentiert wird, gibt es so nicht mehr. Der Pool der eine größere Plastikwanne ist, wird 18 Uhr abgedeckt und die Gesamte Dachterrasse in eine Bar verwandelt.. eher Shisha Lounge. So ziemlich jeden Abend ertönt ohrenbetäubend laute Musik.. ohne Gäste (da keine Promotion). Die Lounge wurde erst vor 4 Wochen eröffnet.. fanden wir nicht einladend, war auch immer leer.. gehört nicht direkt zum Hotel. Scheint eine Art Kooperation oder Einmietung. Wir fanden, dass sie so gar nicht zum Hotel passt. Sollte man überdenken. Der schöne Fitnessraum musste deswegen vom Rooftop weichen und ist nun in einen SO schlimm kleinen. Raum in der 11. Etage verfrachtet worden, dass die beiden Laufbänder gerade so nebeneinander passen. Das wars! Keine Handtücher, kein Wasser, kein Platz. Sehr enttäuschend, weil wir auch das in unsere Hotel-Entscheidung einbezogen hatten, mal Sport machen zu können. Tagsüber werden dann 3 Sonnenliegen irgendwie an den Pool ran geschoben. Alles nicht einladend.. und das für so eine Lounge die keine Gäste anzieht und wahrscheinlich mehr Gäste ärgert als anspricht, da der Bass bis nach Mitternacht durchs Gebäude geht. Über uns in Etage 9/10/11 wo die großen und teuren Suiten sind muss es noch schlimmer sein. Wer gibt so viel Geld aus um dann unfreiwillig und unvorgewarnt die ganze Woche so beschallt zu werden. Man sollte eine Chance haben darüber informiert sein zu können, wenn sich Dinge im Hotel so maßgeblich ändern, als im Internet dargestellt. Das Restaurant in Etage 12. ist nicht in betrieb.. das Café in der Lobby auch sicher wegen fehlender Frequenz nur auf Sparflamme. Insgesamt waren diese Dinge enttäuschend und vermitteln einen traurigen Eindruck. Die Lage ist

Booked 2 rooms, parents had some cockroaches. Loud music from across the street, could hear the bass all night. Staff is very nice and helpful. Laundry service was great and booked a tour through the travel agent on 1st floor. All was smooth. Would stay again

Walking distance to airport, or better Grab, very cheap, cause walking is not safe in motorcycle city. Clean and nice room, but no view, very affordable price anyway, 24 hours reception, I checked out 4am in the morning.

The location is super close to the international airport terminal, just a 5-minute walk away. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic. The rooms seem new and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. The area is surrounded by many restaurants, convenience stores, and shopping options, making it very convenient. The only downside is that there was occasionally an unpleasant smell, possibly from the drains or the air freshener, which was a bit bothersome. Otherwise, everything else was excellent for the price of nights

Daily Housekeeping. They also provide free bottled water, coffee, tea, and fruits! Restaurant: Our booking included daily breakfast. Great tasting foods with lots of choices. We are able to check in early, however the room’s window was pathetically small, I understand that it may due to the privacy which is too near to next room’s window but there’s curtain to serve it’s purpose. So after all the automated curtains drawing defeat it’s purpose. We ask for additional bottled water but got rejected and tell us to buy in a sarcastic manner, I understand that it’s the hotel’s policy to give only 1 bottle water per pax each day however the tone of telling us to go buy can be improve. And also the bathtub is quite high, seniors staying there may need to take note. Apart from all these, still had a good stay~ there’s a convenience store right opposite of the hotel which is a plus sign.
