Owners are incredibly nice and super hospitable.
Breakfast is perfect before a long day touring around Ninh Binh.
Eggs, coffee, juice and water.
Every time they see you coming back they give bananas and water. Hospitality as its best.
They provide a map with recommendations for everything around town.
I booked a room for myself and could fit 4 people easily.

The owner is not good at English, but he uses a translator to answer and is very kind. The room was spacious and clean, so I had a comfortable stay. For breakfast, I ordered chocolate pancakes, an omelet, a fried egg, mango juice, and coffee. Basically, one banana was provided, and there was a lot of food overall, so I was full.

We chartered a car to go to Thung Nham Bird Park Songya Bird Ecological Tourism Area on the first day, which cost 400,000 VND (about 7 kilometers away from the hotel). Great location. Friendly couple who wetr incredibly helpful. Nice breakfast, lovely swimming pool, motorcycles to rent. A comfortable room with everything you need. Beautiful location. Highly recommend.

Drie nachten verbleven in deze homestay. In het centrum van Tam Coc dus restaurantjes te over in de buurt. Kamer was ruim en schoon, lekkere douche. Personeel enorm vriendelijk. Ouder echtpaar wat weinig Engels spreekt maar met handen en voeten en een hele grote glimlach zorgt voor de gasten en hun goed Engels sprekende zoon. Ontbijt eenvoudig maar lekker en duidelijk met liefde gemaakt. Heerlijk zwembad. Ik heb geen vijf sterren gegeven wegens de bouwwerkzaamheden die er gedaan werden. Dit deed toch iets af aan de sfeer. Ben ervan overtuigd dat als dat straks klaar is dat de homestay nog mooier wordt en het zeker vijf sterren waard zal zijn.

This homestay was run well by a lovely couple.
For its price point, it’s excellent. My room had a massive California king bed and was separate from the other suites. The pool is pretty.
Breakfast is served from 730-930 and though it was simple, it was very good. They season their eggs with some sort of secret salt which was really good!
A couple minutes from the main intersection of the town, it’s far enough to have a bit of peace and quiet.

sehr nette Unterkunft, schöner Pool (leider schlechtes Wetter, daher nicht genutzt, etwas abseits der Hauptstraße, daher sehr ruhig, trotzdem nach ein paar Minuten im Zentrum, Zimmer groß und guter Zustand - merkwürdig ist die Glasfront zum Bad, kann aber mit Vorhang geschlossen werden (haben wir auch in anderen Hotels erlebt), Besitzer sprechen fast kein Englisch, sind aber sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Gerne wieder

There is so many homestays to choose from in this area and I'm so glad we chose to stay at Lavendar Homestay. The location is great as it's just a couple minute walk from the main Tam Coc area. The homestay was very clean and pleasant, they even accommodated our (very) late checkout so we could catch a night bus. Motorbike and bicycle rentals available to explore the area. The hosts were our favorite part of the stay. They are such kind and hospitable people and they made our visit to the Nihn Binh area so memorable. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Nihn Binh.
