Very quiet, very big room, good breakfast. I didn't rent a car, and the pick-up and drop-off are expensive

This will be our last night here as tomorrow we go into Kruger park, our stay has been lovely the staff are happy and always smiling, we have eaten well the food is of good quality and presentation is lovely, the staff are always ready to help you in any way possible. The lodge is teaming with wildlife and very well maintained the rooms are spacious and the bed really snuggly. If I was to complain about anything it would be that the bathtubs in the rooms are fabulous but the hot water runs cold before you can fill it more than about 1/4 deep . However they also have indoor and outdoor showers which are just as wonderful so nothing to complain about really. I recommend anyone coming this way to look it up and book.

we had a horrible time from the day we got there, we had to pay a fine of R700.00 on the spot without any warning whatsoever, which I found very unfair, R700 was a lot of money to be paid immediately...The game drive was horrible it did not have the big fives , we only saw giraffes and went back to our rooms. The breakfast was the same thing for 2 days, what a horrible experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Tips: don't use Google map for the location, you will get lost (happened with us and friends visiting us). The location is good, I enjoyed the rented bicycle ride in nature. My bicycle tires did not have any treatment for punchers and got a thorn in my tire (bushveld). Without a repair kit this was a challenge to get back to the Lodge.

We bad a short little break away to Unembeza, and it was the perfect reset for us. The Garden Suite was fabulous, very stylish and well thought out, clean and just so comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud! We had an incredible stay, and the staff were very friendly

We came to the Unembeza Boutique Lodge after a week of staying in lodges with two game drives a day. It was just the right place to relax, our room was spacious, with an outdoor shower, and the bed was very comfortable. The pool was inviting and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The best thing was that you could see animals from your room in the Wildlife Estate, and if you rent bikes you might well come across zebras and giraffes (both happened to us). We really enjoyed our stay and look back on it fondly.
