Holiday always is the good choice, nice room....

We have recently starting staying at IHG hotels because we were granted Platinum Elite status through a credit card. Although our news experiences with IHG have been positive, I would not recommend staying at this hotel. When we checked in Deanna, Front Desk Manager, had us complete a form that included a box to check if you wanted a room refresh the next morning of our night stay. The next morning I approached Deanna to verify that our room would be serviced. Deanna, who is very polite and friendly, proudly showed me the room service log that indicated our room would be serviced. When we returned to the hotel at 4:00 I went to our room and noticed the room had not been serviced. I went to the front desk and was told by two very pleasant ladies that it was not serviced because we had our do not disturb sign on the door. In fact, the two of us had verified that the sign was not on the door when we left that morning it was not on the door when we returned at 4:00. I asked if they could service the room and they said that housekeeping had left for the day and they would make sure it was made up the next day. Since we were leaving the next day, it didn't help us at all. Since we asked twice to make sure it was going to be done, it was obviously important us and why couldn't they have called or texted that our sign was up. They texted several times about all kinds of other insignificant details. When I asked they said "Oh, that's AI". We KNOW the sign was not on the door. This is not our first time in a hotel and we know the drill. The ladies at the desk said they do not get the completed list from housekeeping until they leave for the day and apparently management just takes their word for it. It seems if there are a couple of rooms that have not been checked off, a supervisor should go check the door one last time. The ladies at the desk assured my husband that the hotel and/or housekeeping manager would contact me, but no one ever did. I was also surprised when I asked for a late checkout the day before we were due to leave, we were told that they don't acknowledge requests until the morning of and we would have to call back. It defeats the purpose because you would have already have to set the clock and get up in case your request was denied. The hotel in general was basic and clean. The breakfast was good, but did not offer many healthy options and the property is very removed from the general area and most of the restaurants, etc.

The staff was extremely rude! Front desk manager got mad because our request to her manager because she was being extremely rude. She then proceeded to tell me that she is going to cancel my reservation and call the police. I then left because I had a long flight and was extremely tired so we left to go to another hotel as we were getting our Uber to go to another hotel, she then came outside while we were waiting outside of the hotel to tell us that we need to get off of the outside property while waiting for our Uber or she was going to call the police extremely disrespectful. Was able to get my full refund through customer service, but I do not recommend this hotel.

The fire alarm went off at 5am. I had to leave with only 3 hours sleep on Mother’s Day. Nobody apologized or anything.

Everything was perfect except the bad and pillows the mattress where not very comfortable king size bed and it was not comfortable is not very common Every other Holliday inn I have been are extremely good

Parking was easy , quiet area, hotel staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast area was clean.

Very well maintained, clean rooms. Breakfast was about the best I’ve had at any similar hotel. TV in room was very modern with many connection options. I would definitely return.

Clean room, helpful staff, well lit, nice swimming pool, close to shopping/restaurants
