Very good hotel clean.Staff first class, breakfast great selection.Room at front great view can walk into the old town.Will stay there again.Resturants and shops close by.

It's been an amazing stay. We arrived after midnight but the owner Cuong took care of our arrival well. Organized us to sleep first and proper check in the next day. Very thoughtful design and lay out of the room. So clean and staff like Thinh, Mr Bean and the lady receptionist were helpful and friendly. The lady serving us breakfast was brilliant. A place that we must return for fun and friendship

The facilities and hospitality were good, but the noise from the next room was annoying.

The hotel is cost-effective. As soon as I got off the taxi, a guy came to help me with my luggage. He was very friendly. The breakfast food was fresh and the variety was quite rich. The service of the front desk sister was also very good. The hotel price also includes a buffet, which is really good.

From the moment we arrived in early June till seven weeks later in July when we departed there was not one day we did not meet or befriend another guest such is the friendliness of this 16 room hotel.It also goes without saying that the staff are very friendly and obliging and will go out of their way to help accomodate any request.The hotel and rooms were extremely clean and the buffet breakfast was surprisingly more than adequate for such a small hotel.Bicycles are provided and were always available.The pool was mainly undercover and this provided for a cool refreshing swim which we did not receive when we stayed at another hotel which had no shade-their pool water was like taking a hot bath.The staff and owner are to be commended for their level of service and friendliness.One pleasing side line is that the property has many paintings both in the lobby and rooms hence the name Merrily De Art which gives the property an arty theme.We were disappointed when we had to leave but will make plans to return for a longer stay.We miss our family at Merrily.

I enjoyed everything about my stay at Merrily over Christmas 2022. The room was excellent, and great value for money. It had chairs to relax in (something that isn’t always provided) and I had a balcony. There was ample room for storage and an array of items for snacks, plus a selection of cold drinks in the minibar. Staff had paid attention to detail with their choices of items in the bathroom, all packaged sustainably - which was refreshing to see. Their choice of shower gel and shampoo was good too; smelled lovely. The bed was really comfy. It was also a lovely touch that art work was displayed, it matched some of the styles I saw in the shops in Hoi An and brought an added local feel. Breakfast had something for everyone. Fruits, yoghurt, breads and pastries, Vietnamese hot dishes, eggs, pancakes and other hot choices. You could also get omelette or other egg choices cooked for you. Staff were friendly and helpful, greeting everyone with a warm smile. The hotel was conveniently situated and I enjoyed a pleasant walk into the town itself each day, and even walked to Tra Que village on one occasion. Taxi’s back in the evening were around d30-35,000 (around £1 or so) so ideal. Now that I’ve returned home I can honestly say it was the best of the seven places I stayed …..can’t wait to return….

The owner, manager and all the staff were wonderful, friendly people in this excellent hotel. The room and bathroom we’re very clean and quite. They are well laid out with comfortable beds, and a small well stocked fridge. The breakfast options were really good with many choices to suit all tastes. The location was perfect with an easy twenty minute walk to town and on the way to the beach. We planned on staying a few days and by the second day decided to stay for three weeks+ We were so well treated and were sad to have to leave our new friends. Any time we come back to Hoi An this will be our home from home. And all for a very reasonable price. I would recommend checking out their hotel when you are ready to book Thank you so much to all the staff, we will not forget how well you looked after us.

My friends and I stayed at The Merrily de Art Hotel for 3 nights. We had such a wonderful experience. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they organised all our day trips and onward travel, including train and flights. Particular mention to Dieu who was so helpful, it felt like saying goodbye to a friend when we left. The hotel is within walking distance to the ancient town and lots to see along the way including the daily vegetable market. The breakfast is excellent and the beds are really comfortable, this hotel for us left nothing out. We went to a wonderful Vietnamese vegetarian restaurant within 5 minutes of the hotel called Rom Bistro. The food was so delicious, I would really recommend you try it.

Lovely small quaint hotel. Very impressive for the price. Ideally located about 20 mins walk from the old town. Ultra friendly and provided a lot of information on local activities. Rooms clean and well equipped and a lovely small balcony. Great breakfast. Would return here if in Hoi An again

We had a wonderful stay at the Merrily : the owner and his staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Quiet place just outside the old town, each room has a balcony and good water pressure. They provide free bikes, old town is about 5-10min away. They helped us book cabs and even recovered some personal items left accidentally in a taxi by calling back the company. I can't recommend this hotel enough

One of the very best hotels we have had the pleasure of staying in ever,it's spotlessly clean,the breakfast is amazing,it's situated about 1.5kms from Old Quarter 10/15mins walk,plenty of restaurants close by.Hotel offers Bicycles,Motorbikes for Hire,last but not least the staff are amazing can't do enough for you or your onward journeys.Thk you so much we will return.Hon and Roger.
