Apart-hotel very well located near the beach. A little dated, deserves renovation. But the bad experience is that cash was stolen from us there. The safe is keyed and not coded. Despite the intervention of the police and the statements made, we were, of course, unable to prove anything. We therefore remain with a bad impression of dishonesty from the staff.

The hotel far exceeded our expectations. It is beautiful, peaceful, full of plants and rustic. One block from the sea. The breakfast is very rich, it has coffee with vegetable milk, fruit juice, pancakes, fruit, scrambled eggs, cereals, granola, yogurt, bread. The dinners are also delicious; Usually there are three different dishes of your choice + salads. They are seasoned in the Mexican style and the quantity is very good. We also understand that the next reservations will be without dinner. Everything is very well organized by Víctor and Óscar. They have a super friendly treatment with all guests and are very helpful, both for doubts/queries regarding the hotel as well as tours or things to do on the island. We left very happy. We would return to the hotel because the stay was wonderful. I highly recommend it, you won't regret it if you decide to go.

Beautiful, quiet, clean, cozy place with friendly staff. Looks better live than in the photos:) Our room was spacious and comfortable. Nice shower with hot water. Excellent location, almost at the beach and walking distance to everywhere. Worth your money! Would highly recommend to stay here if you visit Holbox!

We stayed here for 3 nights--2 rooms for my wife and I and our boys. It is quiet, relaxed, and close to the beach. Far enough from downtown to be quiet but close enough to walk to everything you need. The breakfast and dinner provided was tasty and healthy. The plunge pool was refreshing to cool off after a hot day. Nothing fancy, but a good base to explore the island.

Excellent experience!!! First of all the staff are amazing, especially Victor, thank you for your kind hosting and care during our stay, the kids loved you! Really cute, intimate, well maintained, beautiful environment with gorgeous plants growing all around the property. The pool was clean and kids had a blast while my wife and I chilled in the hammocks. The food was incredible, again Victor thanks for your amazing cooking as well. We are not vegan or vegetarian and we never felt like we were craving anything else as food was so good. Even the kids really enjoyed the food. Location is set back about a block from really nice area of the beach which is only a minute or two walking so no issues at all. Close to everything so could walk everywhere. Rooms are good size, very cute, have everything you need including small kitchenette area with coffee maker, and are kept clean. Staff and owners very kind and attentive to all of our needs. Stayed at another hotel last year on Holbox and this was a way better experience, it felt like home. Other hotel guests were very kind, respectful, and we made some great new friends. Thanks to Arte Sano for a great experience! We can’t say enough about this place! A+++++++++

“If I wanted to be rich, I would have launched my business in Cancun! People ask me why I charge such low prices when I am 50 meters from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world? I tell them that the beach and the sea do not belong to me. Why do I offer breakfast and evening meals? Because I consider that the fruits, lentils and vegetables that I offer them are not worth the price of beef although they are excellent for their health. And I can talk to you for hours about Francisco's philosophy, which alone is worth the detour as it is inspiring and in total sync with the Bohemian and hippie side of the Island of Holbox. If one day life brings you here, stay at the Arte Sano Vegan Hotel without hesitation. Which only has a “hotel” in name and its presence on Booking where I found it. Thanks also to Oliver for his kindness. Ps: you must also try their restaurant located in town. Sumptuous dishes at very reasonable prices.

Amazing place! So happy we chose to stay here. Sure there are beachfront hotels, but this place is warm and friendly. Feels like staying with family. If you want to experience the beachfront hotels, grab a day pass and you have the best of both worlds. There are only 6 rooms so it is a very personal experience. Our room was great- super roomy and great balcony overlooking the pool. The pool is perfect for a dip after being at the beach and in the sun. The best thing here is the staff. They made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Our son especially loved them. Food was great and is a real advantage. Food on Holbox is expensive and to have breakfast and dinners covered is awesome. We’re not even vegan or vegetarian! Thank you for your care of our family. We are so happy to recommend you to anyone looking for a family friendly and unique place to stay.
