Usually in the city will feel dull and boring, looking up is a high-rise building, the sky is only a small piece that is not blocked, it is really not as good as the scenery in nature. And I saw a lot of people camping in the desert a while ago, I was excited! The heart is not as good as the action, the itinerary is determined, and the friend has a trip to say that it is gone. When I arrived in the desert, suddenly the depression was slowly smoothed out. The unhappiness accumulated in the weekdays was swallowed up by this vast earth. Come out to play, it must be a photo! ! I strongly recommend everyone to come here to check in and take pictures. When I went there were not many people, so it was very good to take pictures. And the food in the desert has a special flavor, and the exquisite plates are also very high-end. At night, you can see the stars in the sky, which is really very healing. In addition, I want to thank the boss here. In the desert, I have played with my friends these days, and they can solve the others! ! !

There are also drying racks, convenient for drying, etc.
Hygienic: The room is quite large, and very clean and tidy, like the bathroom floor is not stained
Environment: The location is at the foot of Mingsha Mountain, and the whole small courtyard is also very distinctive. You can see the desert at the door of the room arranged for us. It is a very special experience.
Service: The sister of the small courtyard will help me carry the suitcase, very intimate, I forgot to take the room card and help send it
Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring-Mogao Grottoes Scenic Area pick-up or delivery service: We didn't use this service when we drove by ourselves, but it was very convenient for guests who didn't drive.
Overall living is very satisfied!

SS_MThe hostel is very good! There are lots of restaurants nearby and the bus station to reach the sights of the city is also close. The host is very very friendly and gave us some recommendations for transport and food. He even gave us some melon and another fruit to eat while checking in and after we woke up. We could leave our bags in a locked room after check-out while still exploring the city.

2205092****This guesthouse is truly unique! Each room is named after one of the twelve zodiac signs, with designs that blend local flair and astrological elements. In the evenings, you can go stargazing, with options for an indoor lecture and actual observation from the rooftop. The instructor mentioned that summer is the best season for stargazing, and if you want to spot your own zodiac constellation, it's best to visit around two months before or after its designated month. They even gave us wishing bottles for our own zodiac signs, which we filled with sand from Mingsha Mountain the next day to take home!
The host is incredibly warm and helpful; you can ask her about local tourism, car rentals, and more – she's very considerate. Breakfast is different every day, with a thoughtful and nutritious selection. There's also an adorable cat who loves to 'accompany' you during meals, often sitting on a chair. She gets so happy if you share half an egg yolk with her every morning! She also recently had three tiny, adorable kittens!
The guesthouse features a classroom and a spacious, bright lobby, making it feel especially suitable for study tour groups. We initially planned to stay two nights but loved it so much we extended for another night. The village atmosphere is quiet and comfortable, and it's about a 15-minute taxi ride to Shazhou Night Market and around 20 minutes to the train station, so transportation is very convenient.
Highly recommend for family trips and educational tours!

GGuest UserThis B&B is my favorite place to stay in Dunhuang. It has a small courtyard and an outside room. It has all the necessary appliances and disposable items. The location is a bit out of the way, but the owner always drops you off at the entrance to Crescent Lake. You can even borrow an electric scooter if you need anything. It's a great value for money. The cats at the B&B are super cute, you have to pet them!

GGuest UserIt is next to Dang River, with beautiful scenery. The room is large, clean, and the bedding is clean and new. The boss and his wife have a good service attitude. Because we arrived early and took the wrong road, we called the boss to come out and pick us up in person.

When staying in the wilderness, the first thing is to look at the scenery. The scenery of the desert hills is not to mention. Although it is at the foot of the mountain, it is still refreshing.
It’s also great to take photos in an open space. They gave us guidance on how to take pictures of the starry sky and provided a mobile phone holder. It was great. PS. If you come here, be sure to ask the housekeeper or the boss for a candlelight lantern (the store will provide it for free). The atmosphere for taking photos is great. Got it
In terms of meals, we ordered a barbecue from the store and ate on the terrace of the room (four people can sit on it, and if more than four people eat on the sand below the terrace)

MM58385****This hotel has a strong artistic and cultural atmosphere; you can feel the thoughtful design and decorations everywhere. The rooms are filled with murals, exuding a high-end feel and perfect for taking photos.
Afternoon tea and late-night snacks were included with your stay. The dried fruit in the room was also delicious. Breakfast on the second day was a set meal, and the mutton soup noodles were very comforting.
A complimentary ticket to Mingsha Mountain was also provided. The hotel is only a 5-minute drive from the parking lot at the central entrance of the scenic area, which is very convenient.
I especially loved the hotel's terrace; it was so relaxing to gaze at the desert.
