The Muggles Therapy
We spent one night at Hang Tueng Farm and had a truly wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how quiet, peaceful, and well-maintained the place was. The atmosphere is incredibly calm, making it easy to relax and disconnect from the busyness of daily life.
Waking up the next morning was one of the highlights of our stay. We were greeted by ducks wandering around the farm and surrounded by beautiful, natural scenery that felt refreshing and grounding. The environment is clean, thoughtfully kept, and clearly cared for.
What we really appreciated is how Hang Tueng Farm offers the best of both worlds—it’s conveniently close to the city, yet tucked away in a serene and quiet neighborhood. It feels like a gentle escape without being too far from everything you need.
Overall, it’s a perfect place for families, couples, or anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in nature. We left feeling rested and refreshed, and we would definitely recommend Hang Tueng Farm to anyone seeking a calm and cozy stay.

After the chaos of Bangkok, this was what we needed - a quiet B&B in a beautiful neighborhood, within walking distance of almost everything.
This is not a luxury hotel, nor does it try to be. It is a quaint old home that has been transformed into a beautiful spot to rest and sleep. Our favorite spot was the balcony - we would simply look at the flowers and watch the birds.
One thing, being a small B&B, the breakfast is not the huge buffet with a huge selection of food. Instead, it is freshly made coffee, eggs any way, fresh toast and lots and lots of fresh fruit. For me, the ideal breakfast is coffee, bread and mango, so I was in my happy place.
It is a wonderful old house that makes its own music - you quickly discover which floorboards squeak and learn to avoid them at night. And waking up to the calling of birds is always a blessing.

wheres aThe best stay we had in Chiang Mai thanks to Dr. A!🙏
The rooms are huuugggeeee, like a big loft style apartment that also has a full dining table! They also have an elevator that is a big relief when carrying suitcases. The beds are comfortable and our room has big windows that made it very airy and bright, but has dark curtains when needed.
Best part of the stay is the owner, Dr. A who has been more than welcoming. He has helped us with everything even getting to our Grab rides! Very fluent in English and can even speak Tagalog. Thai people are very warm but Dr A even goes beyond that with his cheery personality, offering us fruits regularly even.
Thank you! Highly recommended!

Coco’s_tripIn general it’s fine. The location is good it’s close for the main attraction. The cleaning of the room is also good. But the bad things it’s that the room doesn’t have any insulation noise. Some things were missing in one of the rooms and they were very loudly speaking out with the reception and with one of the drivers (I suppose they forgot them on the excursion) and couldn’t remember where they lost these things. In the room or on an excursion. After that, from 10 to 10:30 a.m. there were construction work and it was heard that someone upstairs was drilling .... In general, we didn't feel such rest in the room. Spending one night is okay, staying for a long time .... The probability that you won't get enough sleep ... because you'll hear everything they say in the neighboring rooms.

Guest UserChiang Mai's hidden gem, Baokang Homestay! This Northern Thai-style wooden courtyard is incredibly therapeutic. It's about a 10-minute walk from Tha Phae Gate in the Old City. The rooms are clean and quiet, the staff are gentle and attentive, and the breakfast is delicious. It offers amazing value for money – I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Stayed here for a few days to wind down after landing in Chiang Mai and had a great experience☺️
The room was great and clean, extremely cozy to just rest and relax. Given it's proximity to the airport, the sounds of the aircrafts flying can definitely still be heard, but it was not as loud as expected.
The location of the homestay is near the airport and near the Central Chiangmai Airport (a shopping mall with a great foodcourt) and convenient to get to by Grab bikes or cars. Apart from those, don't expect there to be anything else around the vicinity as it is at the very end of a row of houses.
Overall, for the price paid during a non peak period, the room is extremely valued for money.

Cute and cozy homestay in a quiet location. The owner is friendly and was in touch. I arrived about 11 pm and check in was quick and smooth. I stayed in room number 2. The room is big and very clean, looks new or recently renovated. The AC is quiet almost silent. I liked wooden furniture and cute details with elephants. The room has the kitchen attached . There is a microwave, a kettle, a big fridge (not minibar size), some plates and cutlery. The owner provided a teacup and a knife when I asked for. There is a pool, the water was a bit cold in January but rather energizing:) Maybe I'd like to be a bit closer to the Old town as my trip was short but it's possible to get Grab. There is 7/11 and coffee places nearby. I forgot my ring in the room so the owner contacted me immediately and gave it back when I came. Thank you!

What a great hotel. Tucked away in an alley off of the main road that heads to south gate, this hotel is directly in the center of old town. The suites are like having two hotel rooms in one. Perfect for a couple of couples or a family traveling together. We have been in three locations and three hotels on this trip and Glyn was our favorite. We ended up taking tours each day we were there so missed out on eating at their restaurant, but their menu looks great. The staff are super friendly and helpful.
The town is smaller than it looks on a map. We flew in early and spent a few hours walking around town, covering a lot of ground. South gate and it's night market are a ten minute walk from the hotel. Several of the big temples are blocks away.
Easy to step out to the main road and catch a truck to take you anywhere.

R.E.D.Great location, in a quiet and silent street, well connected to the main arteries of the old city. The girls on the staff are good and kind, the cleaning is good. The room is less: the sink is blocked, ok, the shower that doesn't work very well, ok, but the problem of mice and pigeons in the attic that made noise all night is from the morning to 5.30. I asked if the problem could be solved, in response I was reimbursed for one night, but put on the doorstep, with the city full for the festival and without being able to go anywhere. Honestly, I didn't understand the ”not wanting to solve the problem”. Other solutions could have been found. So I, the owner, wasn't as kind as his girls on the staff. Noisy room aside, the value for money is good.

sandrius_04Overall a great stay at Chiang Mai. The property is in a quiet and laid back area, within walking distance to nice places for food , entertainment and to get massages as the health land centre for instance. Also I recommend talking with the owner to arrange trips , especially to Doi inthanon ;)
Thanks!
