It was built by “Rocky,” a well-known and beloved local gold prospector and trapper, and close friend of Jim Beaver of the House of Beaver. The cabin has remained in our family since my mother was a child, preserving its authentic connection to Talkeetna’s early days.The cabin sleeps a small group with one queen bed, one twin bed, and one bathroom. The kitchenette includes a Keurig, microwave, small refrigerator, plus coffee and tea.
