Merci Steven.

This was an absolute gem of a stay for my wife and I, and our 2 teens. We stayed in a 'Comfort Family Room' (named 'Luce', I think?), which was more spacious than we had even hoped for. This is not so much a hotel...more like a bed and breakfast with only a few rooms in it. And that's a good thing! **NOTE**: This is a VERY old building (and VERY well kept!) in an old fishing village, and as such, has a VERY tight spiral staircase to get from floor to floor (we were on the 3rd). The stairs are very narrow and steep, so be advised in case you have mobility/balance issues. There is a railing on the outside and a rope hanging down the middle to help with balance, but if your hands are full of bags/suitcases, be careful. Queen bed plus 2 singles in a VERY spacious, beautifully-appointed room with plenty of large windows and natural light. I'm quite tall so I found the bathroom a little tight (rainfall showerhead was at about 6ft, and I'm 6'3", and could have used a bit more elbow-room), but I was the only one that found this. Wife and teens were just fine, and it looks like some other rooms have more spacious bathrooms. Very nice continental breakfast provided in the quaint main floor common room by the wonderful and attentive hostess/owner, included yogurt, croissants/pastries, cereal, fruit, coffee, orange/apply juice, cheese and sliced meats, etc. It's a short walk (5-7mins?) downhill to the bustling centre of Honfleur which is covered in restaurants (we ate twice at Acte 2..great food and service), the harbour, a very large greenspace/park, playground for kids, walk along the harbour and on to the beach if that suits you, where the Seine river meets the Atlantic ocean. There is no parking specific to this location, but we found some on the (very narrow) street about 300-400m away. We never used our rental car once we arrived (very walkable village), and it cost about 12 Euros per day to park on the street. I would stay here again without even bothering to look for other options.
