Preface: The rating is based on the hostels I have stayed in. The hostels themselves have limited conditions, but they are budget-friendly. If you are also traveling alone, please read the text reviews, which may help you objectively judge whether it is suitable for your travel needs.
1. Safety Issue Part 1: I stayed for three nights, and was in Citywalk during the day and at night. The safety issues of the surrounding area, including the building, were very friendly to me and I had no worries.
2. Safety Issue Part 2: The accommodation, bathroom and public areas for girls are all on the 9th floor, which is different from the floor for boys, so I feel safer.
3. Service attitude: A sister is responsible for check-in and hygiene, and her attitude is very friendly. Since I didn’t communicate much except for check-in, I can’t comment too much.
4. Public facilities: The six-person room has a dry and wet separated bathroom; there are two bathrooms without dry and wet separation and a washbasin in the public area; in my three-day living experience, there are always vacancies for taking a shower or going to the toilet in the morning and evening; there are tables and sofa chairs, washing machines, microwave ovens, refrigerators, etc. in the public area; there are air conditioners in the room and the public area;
5. Surrounding facilities: There are shops and buildings everywhere; there are Mannings, Miniso and supermarkets in the basement of the adjacent buildings, which can basically meet daily chemical needs; Miniso has disposable sheets, quilts, bath towels, etc.; if you want to travel light, you can buy them when you arrive at the hostel, and throw them away after use, without adding to the luggage burden;
6. Travel Part 1: Sightseeing: The location is excellent!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Go downstairs and walk for 3-5 minutes. Cross the street and follow the sightseeing route, K11 (behind the coast is the Bruce Lee and McDull statue check-in point) - Hong Kong Museum of Art (behind the coast is the Avenue of Stars) - Hong Kong Space Museum and something I forgot) and then Harbour City, etc. Please check the map for details; overlooking Central along the coast, a great photo spot, crowded from morning to night, but everyone will give way to take turns to take pictures; Kowloon Park is opposite downstairs; China Hong Kong City is also very close;
7. Travel Part 2: Food: Downstairs is Chi Kee Wonton Noodles, and across the alley is Bakehouse (recommend their pineapple buns!), ********* beef noodles are not far away (the beef is soft and sticky, super big!), Rongji Chenpi roast goose is not far away (different people have different tastes, I don’t like it very much), all within a 10-minute walking distance; there are many foods downstairs and around, I just tasted them briefly, and those who are interested can explore them by themselves);
8. Transportation: Downstairs is the subway station; West Kowloon High Speed Rail Station is a 15-18 minute walk. First go to the subway station, then cross the bridge to the high speed rail station, and the customs clearance is also very fast; many buses pass by downstairs, but I didn’t take the bus, so I don’t have any experience to share;
9. Payment: Take the subway and pay with Alipay directly, which is very convenient; shopping and eating, you can pay with credit cards and cash; there are also merchants that accept Alipay, but I don’t have much experience to share about this;
10. Living experience: It is recommended to prepare disposable sheets, quilts and pillowcases for the bed; the curtains have a good light-blocking effect; you don’t need to prepare a converter to charge 👍🏽; living with people from all over the world and different living habits, there is noise no matter morning or night, it is recommended to carry a pair of earplugs;
For people who strictly manage funds, the recommendation index is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
