The Kowloon Hotel

Before booking, I was hesitant due to multiple reviews mentioning discriminatory treatment from the hotel staff. However, upon arrival, I found the staff to be very dedicated and proactive in greeting guests and offering assistance. What's even better is the hotel's excellent location. The main entrance is right by Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station Exit L3, and Exit F is just a minute's walk away. The Peninsula Hotel is directly opposite the main entrance. Turning right leads to numerous dining options, while a three-to-five-minute walk to the left takes you to the Avenue of Stars (Victoria Harbour Goddess statue), K11, and Harbour City, making shopping very convenient. Of course, the hotel's decor is a bit dated, and the room types can't compare to those on the mainland, with smaller room sizes. The cleanliness and soundproofing are just average, but I didn't experience any of the itching mentioned in online reviews. Overall, it's a satisfactory hotel.

The location is fantastic. Even during the hot summer, you can use the MRT without going above ground, which was incredibly convenient. I'd especially recommend it to anyone visiting Hong Kong for the first time.

The hotel's biggest advantage is its excellent location, making transportation incredibly convenient. Aside from the small room size, everything else was quite good.

Location 10/10. Right in the city center, everything is within walking distance – K11, the pier, cafes, and shops. Check-in can be slow, leading to queues due to the high volume of guests. The room was spacious, unlike other hotels in the same price range. It was clean and comfortable, with a bathtub and shower amenities provided. The service was good. We stayed for several days, and daily housekeeping was provided. We also left our luggage for storage.

I visited recently from August 9-11. I got some insect bites but didn't think much of it at first. On the second day of my stay, my eyes started to swell and continued to worsen until check-out. The swelling had also spread to the area under my eyes. After returning to my home country, I saw a doctor and found out I had been bitten by bedbugs and had an allergic reaction, with similar bumps all over both my legs. The hotel should definitely improve its cleanliness.

- The hotel has an excellent location. You can directly access it from MTR Tsim Sha Tsui Exit L4. - For the return trip to the airport, take bus A21. Turn left after exiting the hotel and go straight. The bus stop is in front of the TUDOR shop. - The room size is quite large, especially considering the price (4,000 baht). - It's clean, the bed and pillows are comfortable, and the air conditioning is cool and adjustable. - The only downside is that the room is not soundproof.

Great location, very convenient, close to tourist attractions. The subway station is right next to the hotel.

An old-established hotel with excellent service. The rooms are quite spacious, and the hotel lobby has direct access to the MTR station, which is very convenient. The restaurant downstairs, '100%,' is delicious, and it's very close to Victoria Harbour, just across the street.

The location is excellent, right outside Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, next to Harbour City, and very close to K11. The area is bustling with tourists and quite crowded. The hotel itself is also very popular and thus crowded with many guests. Lung Yat Heen, located on the second floor of the hotel, serves delicious food. The prices are a bit high, but hotel guests can get a 30% discount with a coupon.
