Dorsett Wanchai

First off, getting to the hotel was incredibly convenient. They have a shuttle service that will take you to and from key locations around the city. The front desk staff greeted us with genuine smiles and spoke in a polite, soft, and pleasant tone. The room was clean, spacious, and met all standards. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, was delicious, and served from 6 AM to 10:30 AM.

Great location! The hotel offers a shuttle bus service to Causeway Bay, which is super convenient for shopping! The staff provides excellent service, and the room was incredibly clean with fantastic soundproofing!

It's pretty good, but the location isn't as convenient, though it's right next to Happy Valley.

The hotel's location isn't very convenient, but thankfully they offer a shuttle service or taxis. It also happened to rain heavily for days, so many guests just ordered takeout. There are two vending machines in the lobby. I stayed in a one-bedroom suite; the space was quite large with high ceilings, so it didn't feel cramped. However, the lighting was a bit dim, and the furniture showed signs of age. The bathtub was quite small, and very few toiletries were provided...

This hotel shares the same owner as the Dorsett Wanchai, and that owner is incredibly stingy. The room facilities are outdated; it's 2026, and there are no USB outlets. I've stayed at the Emperor Hotel next door, and they provide toothbrushes and complimentary bottled water, which you won't find here. Seriously, avoid booking the Dorsett Wanchai. The room hygiene is terrible; I started having an allergic reaction shortly after checking in. This Dorsett is slightly better, but seeing a room for only 374, when I paid 600 without breakfast for this one, makes me feel completely ripped off. The amenities are just too old. I decisively checked out the next day and switched to a hotel in Causeway Bay, which was much better...

We were very happy with our stay! The view from the window overlooking the racecourse was excellent! In reviews, people often get scared by the view of the cemetery, but it's beautiful in its own way – we drove past it on the bus. We really liked the toiletries in the shower!
