Panda Hotel

For a business trip, the stay was decent and comfortable. The room was quite clean and cozy. The transportation isn't great; it takes at least 45 minutes to walk to the subway. The hotel facilities are just so-so, especially the toothbrushes which were very hard. Luckily, there's a supermarket downstairs.

The front desk staff were super friendly, and the self-check-in/check-out was really convenient. Downstairs, there's a mall with tons of restaurants and a supermarket. I hope to use the pool next time!

My first time booking a hotel through Trip.com, and my first time staying in Hong Kong. I have to say, the value for money is pretty mediocre. Location: It's true that it's convenient to the MTR, and there's also the A31 bus to the airport. This is the core advantage; hotels really leverage their location. Service: Non-existent. Honestly, it might have been faster if I had just used the self-service machine across the street. The elevators also lack clear signage. Facilities: If that hairdryer in the room isn't at least 5 years old, I'll eat it. It's incredibly slow once turned on. If you have long hair, you'll be waiting a while. For around 400 RMB, you could easily pick a hotel like All Seasons or Orange Hotel in almost any city in mainland China and get at least 5 times better service, facilities, and breakfast. But, there's no way around it, location is key. I hope hotels in Hong Kong improve. After booking on the OTA, the front desk told me I had to wait 15 minutes. Does it really take that long? I don't understand.
