Yau Ma Tai M1 Hotel Reviews

Really disappointed and I am so sick of the hygiene problem of this hotel. As an agent in hotel industry I do understand some times the specific room category could be fully booked, thus I accepted the deal of upgrading room and paid $160 + 10$ (shampoo and toiletries) since no double bed available at last room category. However, I found a huge cockroach just inside the so called ‘deluxe room', and the staff just told me this is normal in Hong Kong during the summer season, and the room cannot be changed even though there is hygiene issues. On the other hand, during the morning there was one housekeeping staff playing her mobile with hella noisy music in the corridor, forcing me went out and asked her to turn down the music. I do wanna mention I seldom post negative feedback to hotel cuz I understand being a hotel agent is never a easy job, I tried to be understandable but this time it really pissed me off

I recently stayed at the M1 Hotel in Yau Ma Tei and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Despite booking my room well in advance to avoid any surprises, I arrived late at night to find that my room was not what I had requested. After a long journey, the last thing I wanted was to deal with room issues, yet that's exactly what happened. To make matters worse, the shower drain was clogged, making the bathroom unusable. After a long day of travel, I was looking forward to a relaxing shower, but instead, I had to deal with water pooling on the bathroom floor. It was frustrating and inconvenient, especially late at night when all I wanted to do was rest. I chose the M1 Hotel for its convenient location and promising amenities, but these issues overshadowed any positives. I hoped for a smooth and pleasant stay, but the problems with the room and bathroom made it difficult to enjoy my time there. I sincerely hope the management addresses these issues for future guests, but sadly, my experience at the M1 Hotel was far from what I expected or hoped for.

Location is very convenient,just few minutes walk from mtr location and there’s do many bus routes. Near night market also, many restaurants near area hotel Room clean and teddy, But AC no Cold.

Location wise. Close to metro Yau Ma Tei station, Exit B1. There are many shops and restaurants to choose from.

Room was nice and clean. Do note there's no shower amenities so you have to get your own.

It is a good experience for a short stay. However, the price is a bit expensive if you book in a very rush timing.

Location-wise- the hotel is very convenient to find. It's very close to the metro station, supermarket, restaurants, arcades, and fruit stands. Cleanliness- the place hasn't been wiped. The TV has a lot of dust and most of the edges are not cleaned. They just changed the bedding and left. Service- the service was alright. We didn't ask much about anything from them except for leaving the keys downstairs. The cleaning lady was happy to give us extra tissues. And no major services during our stay. Lift- I find the lift quite slow and always busy. There was no bottled water( most important), however, they provided coffee, tea and a kettle. Toiletries are not bad- toothbrushes and body wash are provided. The bed was too small and the mattress was quite hard. Extra charge for extra pillows and extra towels. Overall, the price for Chinese New Year was alright. But for a regular holiday— it was too expensive.

This hotel not good only the room is a nice style after hours of stay in the room i smell of pee around .. when the second day of stay thats makes me crazy they wont clean tidy up your room and take out the garbage and not change towel every day because you have to wait 4 days lol poor hotel not good to stay longer Note: i was ask the front desk to clean my room and take the garbage out but she said just bring the garbage outside of your room . When i make i put it outside but after tomorrow the carbage bag still outside 🤣🤣 i just wasting money to book this hotel omg

Extremely convenient location with fast service. Very large selection of amenities with mini-fridge in the room. Double bed is just two singles put together though and room is slightly dated.

A classy but old hotel and it shows. They do maintain it well though. It's very tight as especially if you might have a bigger waistline the bathroom won't accommodate you. Everything is extra and there's a price list for it. No bottled water is offered and only one tea and coffee even if you are two people. You both can't have coffee. The restaurant is very small and a booking before hand might be required, although the quality of the meals are good and a bit pricey. There's an incremental deposit fee the longer you stay going to over 2000. The surrounding location isn't very desirable.

very nice location, many restaurants near the hotel, room is very nice and quite spacious, good for value. would stay here for my next trip in hong kong

Location was ok but the room was extremely small and not as clean. Some areas had slight mold and was dusty. Pictures were alot more beautiful. Day front desk staff was not too helpful either.
