Oasis Aurum 181 Hotel

In bustling Hong Kong, where space is a premium, this room size is truly exceptional. The sea view is stunning during the day, though it can be a bit noisy – sensitive sleepers might want to consider this. However, for a summer stay, the price was very reasonable, and the service was absolutely fantastic from the moment we arrived. The location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the University of Hong Kong MTR station (Whitty Street exit), and there are plenty of dining options nearby.

I originally chose this hotel for its cleanliness, but I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service too! All the disposable amenities were provided, and the service was truly great. The sea view was also a nice bonus!

This time, I was celebrating my boyfriend's birthday, and the staff proactively upgraded our sea view room to a sea view suite! We had an extra living room, making the space super huge! And there was a bathtub for soaking! I was really happy! The moment I entered the room and saw the unbeatable sea view, it was just incredible! I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

The room was spacious with a large floor-to-ceiling window offering amazing sea views from the 23rd floor – the vista was incredible! The male staff at the front desk were exceptionally enthusiastic and helpful. It's quite close to the University of Hong Kong, and both metro access and dining options are very convenient.

During the summer holiday, coupled with the HKU graduation ceremony, rooms were incredibly tight. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a sea-view suite by a handsome manager in the lobby – a huge room with an unbeatable sea view! A big thank you for that! The hotel's location is excellent; it's just two traffic lights away from Hong Kong University MTR station, making it a very short walk. Dining downstairs is also super convenient, with a wide variety of local snacks to choose from. The hotel service was very thoughtful. All in all, it made for a perfect trip! Looking forward to staying again next time.

This was my first stay here, and overall I'm quite satisfied! The hotel staff were courteous and handled things efficiently. Communication was smooth, so I'd definitely recommend it! The hotel is conveniently located near Hong Kong University and Kennedy Town, and it's easy to get to Central and Tsim Sha Tsui by MTR or bus. My only suggestions would be to offer a wider variety of breakfast options and to pay more attention to maintaining the room facilities. During my stay, Typhoon Hato passed through, and there was some water leaking from the floor-to-ceiling window.

Absolutely loved the expansive sea view, it was everything I'd hoped for! I was visiting the University of Hong Kong this time, which is why I booked a hotel nearby, and I unexpectedly stumbled upon this gem. So pleasantly surprised and happy with my find!

My overall experience at Yuehai Hotel 181 exceeded my expectations this time. The front desk and ground floor staff were incredibly warm and provided excellent service, making me feel very comfortable. The room was meticulously cleaned every day, always neat and fresh. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the University of Hong Kong, and right downstairs, there are convenient transportation options like buses and ding-ding trams. Various restaurants and supermarkets are also readily available. The room was spacious with a fantastic sea view, offering a very high level of comfort. I'm extremely satisfied and will definitely prioritize staying here again on future trips to Hong Kong.

This hotel belongs to the Guangdong (Yuet Hai) Group. They truly understand the needs of mainland guests. Complimentary bottled water is provided in the rooms, which is a nice touch as many Hong Kong hotels don't offer this. The disposable amenities are also well-stocked. The highlight is definitely the Chinese restaurant on the third floor. The prices are reasonable, and the food quality is excellent. I highly recommend dining there and not venturing too far for other options. However, there were a couple of downsides. I made a request a week or two in advance for a high-floor room of the same type, but the front desk didn't accommodate it. The view from the ninth floor wasn't great, and the room had a strong smell of engine oil, possibly due to its proximity to the pier.
