Disappointing Experience with Unwanted Roommate I recently stayed in room 10 and was disappointed to find a baby cockroach crawling on the bedframe. Unfortunately, when I turned on the lights to take a picture as evidence, it quickly scurried underneath the bed, making it impossible to capture proof. I attempted to contact the host that night to request a room change, but understandably, it was past midnight and they didn't respond. I want to give the host the benefit of the doubt regarding the timing. What concerned me was when I mentioned the incident to the host later, they claimed to have done a deep clean and saw no cockroaches. While I appreciate their efforts, the presence of a baby cockroach suggests there may be a larger issue, potentially stemming from pipes or air ducts. This discovery has left me worried about the overall cleanliness and potential for future infestations. While the host claims they saw no cockroaches, my experience was marred by this unsettling encounter. I hope the host takes this feedback seriously and addresses the root cause to ensure future guests have a comfortable and pest-free stay. Would suggest to book with caution, sleeping knowing there are cockroaches in the room is definitely not fun.

Wow, we are SO lucky we came across Yulam Guesthouse. We had booked 3 nights at another accommodation, only to find the room was awful. Last minute, we messaged staff at Yulam who confirmed they had a room for us and gave us simple instructions to get Into the room. Self check in and check out was super easy! The room itself was so clean and comfortable. It came with everything you'd need and a great aircon. Modern feel, it must be recently updated. Thank you so much for an incredible stay!
