Ramada Hong Kong Grand View

A four-star hotel situated right in the middle of a residential market area. When I arrived at noon, there was only one receptionist working. She clearly looked like she didn't want to be there, scowling the whole time and moving incredibly slowly. This was a stark contrast to the guy who checked me out, who was super friendly. Lots of Indian guests, and the elevator is tiny. The facilities are old; the hairdryer kept overheating and shutting off. There was a strong smell of dusty carpet, and the doors creaked. No complimentary bottled water in the room. Honestly, compared to hotels on the mainland, this is like a 'farmhouse stay' (and that's an insult to farmhouses, at least they provide water!). The cleaning staff, however, were very nice, and that one star is entirely for them.

Honestly, I'm really disappointed. The hotel is located near a wet market, so the surroundings are dirty, messy, and frankly, quite unpleasant with a strong odor. On top of that, the male receptionist was completely humorless and had a very bad attitude throughout. In this day and age, such service is unacceptable. The room amenities were also just average. I truly feel like I was scammed.

It was okay, I guess. Nothing special. Facilities: Just alright, pretty standard. Cleanliness: Seemed clean to the naked eye, tidy. Environment: Decent, but a bit far from the main commercial area. Service: So-so, not particularly great.

This hotel, located on Yang Wo Street in North Point, is one of the better options in the area. Downstairs, there's a bustling wet market, giving it a very authentic local vibe. The hotel is about twenty years old and has a good number of spacious rooms. The service is good, the cleanliness is satisfactory, and the air conditioning works very well. The location is super convenient, and it offers good value for money.

Every time I visit, I stay at Ramada. It's super convenient with bus and subway stations nearby. The hotel staff are always so kind to me. The room is spotless. There's a vending machine in the lobby on the ground floor where you can buy things like toothpaste. There's also a fridge in the room. Downstairs, there's a market and a fruit store, so you can find anything you need. I'm a bit of a **sensitive person, and I've stayed at this hotel multiple times without any strange occurrences, so even those who are easily spooked can feel safe here.
