This is my fourth time staying at Kaiulani.
When I checked in, a female staff member who spoke Japanese was at the reception counter, but she never smiled and was not polite at all and treated me roughly. It must have been difficult because it was the day of the Honolulu Marathon, so it was crowded, but it's a shame. The room wasn't cleaned and all the drawers were full of dust. Why couldn't they double check to prevent this? It really lacks cleanliness.
The coin laundry in the basement is broken in several places and is old and dirty.
The bathtub is knee-high, the water is lukewarm, and the shower curtain smells bad. I think I'll choose a different hotel next time.
