Great find. Hotel was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Easy and safe walk to restaurants and main drag. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great beds.

Upgraded to a suite, thank you! The room was very clean and all facilities were good. Coffee, pure water, and popcorn are provided in the lobby. The balcony has a river view. You can reach the mall on foot, and there is a bus stop nearby, making transportation convenient.

The receptionist was very friendly, and when we tried to go to the beach on the first day after arriving, they immediately handed us beach towels. There was a water server, coffee, and tea in the lobby, and popcorn is available from 3pm. The building is old, but it was worth the price and very nice. When we went to the beach, they also lent us beach umbrellas, mats, chairs, and a sandbox set for children, which was very helpful.

Good location, beautiful scenery, good service, but a bit noisy.

Very poor check-in experience. When checking in, the hotel front desk insisted that our order could not be found, claiming that our order was canceled by the agent. Later, we contacted the intermediary platform and learned that the order was normal because the hotel accidentally canceled the order. It took the two of us an hour to go nowhere in front of the hotel. In the end, the hotel promised to waive other charges as compensation and resume the order. As a result, after returning to Hong Kong, the credit card was charged twice, a walk-in room fee and other miscellaneous fees, and the original order fee was not refunded, which is equivalent to a double charge! It is still in the middle of wrangling, waiting for the reply from the hotel and the processing of the platform.

Convenient location, clean room

Nice place to stay, clean property. It's a bit of a walk to the super touristy areas. The hotel does not offer any food options, but there are several close hotels with great food and beverage services just a block away.

Great staff. Good location. Clean & large rooms. Water station, coffee station. Loved having a mini kitchen. Would stay there again.

We were offered a room upgrade for $15.00 per night. This gave us a view towards the mountain. We stayed here 6 nights and the room was perfect, with a sliding door to the balcony, this gave us plenty of fresh air overnight without the AC being employed. The room and facilities available in it were great

LOVE the filtered water in a dispenser on the main floor. Like having a fridge, sink and table and microwave.

Can’t beat it for the price! We loved our stay here and the popcorn in the foyer. Would definitely stay again. The beds were comfy, and all linens clean but the rooms did show signs of wear and tear in places.

We were very pleased with this hotel! It is easy walking distance from Waikiki beach, and from other Waikiki shopping and dining options. The pool is very small, and often shaded. The staff sometimes had difficulty giving directions and suggestions about local eating, etc, but those are easily researched elsewhere. The rooms were clean and comfortable. One great feature of the Coconut Waikiki was free entry to the Bishop Museum, a spectacular resource about Hawaiian history. We had not heard about this museum on other sites or research about Honolulu, but it was a highlight of our 2-week stay in the islands. Don't miss it! We booked an Uber from a 4th-floor room, and didn't realize that Location had reported an address on the next street over. That was easily remedied, but something to watch out for. We will stay at the Coconut Waikiki again if we visit Honolulu.
