This is such a sweet hotel in Horgen. Central, nice vibe in the square just outside the hotel and extremely friendly and kind staff! The hotel room was very comfortable and welcoming. Very clean and overlooking the square where everything happens in Horgen. High quality breakfast, and pleasant dining area. We had an early departure, so had to miss the last breakfast. But the Team organized a coffee machine in our room and a packed sandwich! So nice of them. Very recommendable if you want to visit the lake Zurich areas.

Wir waren zum absolut fabelhaften Muttertagsbrunch im Hotel Schwan. Man kann es nicht anders sagen, aber wir wurden nach allen Regeln der Kunst als fünfköpfige Familie verwöhnt. Von Ambiente auf dem lauschigen Dorfplatz und liebevoller Dekoration am Tisch, über die erlesenen Speisen und dem stes freundlichen Service war alles zu unserer besten Zufriedenheit. Herzlichen Glückwunsch und ein grosses Dankeschön für den wundervollen Tag dem neuen Wirtepaar!

Si comme nous vous cherchez un Relais étape au bord du lac de Zurich, cet hôtel est tout simplement parfait. Un couple de jeunes tenanciers vous accueille comme si vous étiez amis depuis toujours, les chambres joliment décorées sont spacieuses, le quartier de la vieille ville est très calme, tout était absolument parfait. Il est de plus possible de se restaurer sur place, le restaurant de l’hôtel était excellent. J’ai pris moi-même une soupe à l’oignon en entrée suivie d’une fera du lac avec une sauce aux poireaux et pommes de terre nouvellles et d’un apfelstrudel, simple et excellent! La carte des vins est variées, vous trouvez le monde entier et il est possible de déguster au verre quasiment chaque bouteille de la carte. Vraiment un endroit super agréable. J’étais en plus de passage avec mes deux chiens qui ont été accueillis avec une gentillesse rare. Un grand merci pour l’accueil et le bon moment dans cet établissement

Stayed while visiting family nearby based on their recommendation and it was spot on. Hotel is in a nice setting and comfortable with a very good breakfast. Staff were all friendly and great hosts. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for local stays and easy access to Zurich, with the station an easy walk

What a lovely little hotel in a great and generally quiet location. We arrived late so our room keys had been laid out on the small reception desk. My room was a decent size, with desk and armchair. The bathroom was compact, but nicely decorated and the shower was good. The continental breakfast was lovely, great pastries, breads and a nice cheese and meats selection and smoked salmon. If had one slight complaint, it’s an old building and the floors above me did squeak a fair bit… but it wasn’t enough to stop me from staying here again.

Zimmer & Austattung sehr alt (Teppich, Bad, Möbel) kein Parkplatz und nur eine kleine Frühstücksauswahl. Keine richtige Dusche, nur Badewanne mit Brause, sehr kleiner TV Bildschirm. Personal sehr freundlich, würde aber nicht mehr kommen, zu hoher Preis für wenig Leistung.

We loved our stay at Hotel Schwan in Horgen. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the view from the window overlooked the fountain and town square. The continental breakfast was well presented and delicious . Thank you to all the staff for being so friendly and helpful, especially Nicholas who went out of his way to help us.

Had a fantastic stay in the family suite at the Schwan hotel in Horgen. It was large enough to accommodate us and our 3 children and even had a single room which was ideal for our older daughter. The staff are brilliant, absolutely everyone from the front desk to the kitchen to the cleaners was polite and welcoming. The restaurant was a very nice surprise in this hotel. The food is delicious and we didn’t feel like it was a compromise to eat dinner or lunch at the hotel. The chefs certainly take pride in their work at the Schwan. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families looking for a place to stay along the silver coast on Lake Zurich. It felt more like a home than a hotel - thank you for a wonderful stay.

A perfect stay in a really good hotel. Lovely comfortable bed and linen, immaculate room. Decent hairdryer. Very friendly staff. Breakfast well presented and freshly baked pastry. Really easy walk from both bus/rail station. We can both really recommend.
