"I read several reviews saying the cabin is quite a distance from the village committee, the terminus of the shuttle bus. You absolutely must read my review!!! I asked several shuttle buses, but none of them went there. However, I found a driver in the village (see picture one). We can arrange to meet at the cabin in Tekes and he'll stay until we drop off our luggage before we go out to explore! The scenery is absolutely gorgeous, the views are stunning, and the owner, A-Guai, is a lot of fun. The cooking is delicious; I even tried tomato chicken! It was a wonderful two days! If I hadn't forgotten my thermal underwear, I definitely would have stayed five days! I was lucky enough to experience all four seasons, haha! The weather was magical—strong winds, thunder, and snow at night, followed by alternating sunshine and rain during the day. The most beautiful sight was undoubtedly the pink sunset after the snow melted! Huddled indoors by the stove, cooking dinner and telling suspenseful stories, while the wind and snow howled outside—it created a truly terrifying atmosphere, hahaha! It's a really memorable and relaxing experience. After the snow melts, we'll go up the mountain to pick mushrooms and make ”mushroom soup for those who want to stay in the same hospital room,” hahaha! I hope my friends don't come to visit me after the 15th; I'll come back again, hahaha! Writing this review on Yining Street makes me miss the mountains so much!"
