GGuest UserCute place to stay, close to friends and family whom I was visiting. The gentleman who checked me into the hotel was very nice and knew a lot about the area. The room was cute, functional, and clean. It was very quiet and relaxing. I would definitely stay there again if I'm back in the area.

GGuest UserWas pleasantly surprised by the facility, was clean and neat. Didn't know that I would have a microwave and refrigerator, let alone an iron and ironing board. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Liquor store and gas station convenient store in walking distance. Right next door is the Burger Construction Company, a must stop visit. The food is very good and the service was excellent.

GGuest UserEl Cordova is a historical type of hotel with lovely Spanish touches in the room I stayed in (#5) - Spanish tiles in the bathroom also a small kitchen area with a stove, microwave, and a refrigerator. I was also surprised that this room had a small living room in addition to the bedroom. Truly the hotel makes walking easy to Coronado beach as well as all of the stores and restaurants. Previous reviews noted that the Mexican restaurant can be very ”noisy” - there was some noise, however, not bad enough to keep me awake. I was surprised that the hotel did not have an elevator; several steps to get to your room. The clerk was very kind to assist me with getting my luggage in and out of the room has I have some ”issues” with one of my knees. All, in all - I liked my room and would stay there again.

JJessicaHotel was quaint and quiet but also in need of a lot of upgrades. There was no outlet available where they had the microwave so I had to move it myself into the bathroom area to use it. At check-in I was told check-out time was noon but housekeeping was banging on the door at 11:30, telling me check-out was at 11 and very rude about it.

GGuest UserHotels in the hotel circle are generally good, with great competition. They are comfortable to stay in, have large swimming pools, and friendly service staff. It only takes 5 or 8 minutes to drive out to buy food, and it is also convenient to go to tourist attractions.

GGuest UserWe had the corner room on the second floor which was large and bright. The bathroom is large enough to change clothes in. The location is perfect. We could walk to a bench to watch the sunset in less than 2 minutes. I took a walk down Mission Blvd to Belmont Park which is about 2.2 miles away. The walk was delightful. Lots of small businesses and fun looking houses. Bed was comfortable, there was a small refrigerator and microwave and coffee pot. Thank you!

GGuest UserIf you are a pet owner this is an exceptional property and even otherwise it's a hidden gem. Surprisingly low vagrant activity on the property and the outside lighting is fair. Probably why the management can be nosey and pushy. You get a used car salesman feel at the front desk but, the stay is worth it, if they don't become passive aggressive with you. It does have that California 'control everything' type nuances....Rooms are clean, you won't be afraid to get into the beds or use the furniture. Small accommodating pool and staff doesn't make you uncomfortable using it. Cool location overlooking dog beach in OB, if you are lucky enough to get the ocean facing side. I do recommend this property.

SShi Luna The hotel worked for a quick stay. The location was pretty good which maybe was the best aspect of the hotel. The rooms were a bit on the older side and when I initially walked in the room smelt a bit of cigarette smoke and mould. There was hot water in the bathroom pipe but tepid/luke warm water in the shower. Someone came to look at the shower and they said there was hot water though when I took a shower later in the evening, there was not hot water so that was a challenge. Overall, it's not somewhere I'd stay again but it served it's purpose as I had an extra day in the city and needed to find a place to stay on short notice.

GGuest UserThe location is on a concrete island. Literally. The on ramp to the freeway & the off ramp from the freeway. It was difficult to find the way to the “entrance”
I felt vey nervous getting out of my car. It was nighttime and many street people hanging out at the building. The night clerk was so sweet and helpful. I think she could see the fear in my eyes. She put me in a room within view of the office. She also let me keep my car in front of office. The room was clean and comfy. The carpet was disgusting. Shower head barely worked. Overall, for the rate it was a good deal. They need to install a safety door latch. . I would have slept better. Checkout was super easy and friendly.
