Sunbay Resort

We rented a family room so we could have 2 separate bedrooms. There's no refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, etc... The only AC was in the Master bedroom so our son got pretty hot. The towels for the hot tub had to be checked out and we had to ***** our own beds and gather the linens. We have done this multiple times as we have rented houses previously but never in what I consider a hotel. The building is older but well kept. The carpet in the room was clean but there was quite a bit of dust on the dresser. The remote control for the queen bedroom was missing the back and batteries secured with electrical tape. The staff was amazing but the restaurant was very expensive. The hot tub was nice and the outdoor pool was heated and very well maintained. I would stay again but now I am more aware of the additional needs to be comfortable. Would probably be renting the full condo. Overall for 1 night these things are minor and the staff make up for the small conveniences that most hotels provide.

We recently stayed at this resort and to say the least this place was filthy. It had been so called cleaned when we got there, it was a very halfway job. There was mouse poop, the shower and the tub had hair in them still, the dust built up on the baseboards behind the other furniture was astounding and we had the pleasure of being assaulted by BED BUGS while we were there. I absolutely do not recommend this place and the manager Judy was not so pleasant to try to deal with in this situation. She was more defensive like it was her personal property than caring about the fact that the adults and children on this trip have had to endure some pretty gross stuff. She seemed unaffected. I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE, EVER. Oh, and how could I forget about the moldy air filter and the mold in the showers. Overall a bad experience and we were all left feeling very sick for our trip.

This is the third time that we have been to Sun Bay. Family members love it. Great location. Highly recommend.

We could not have wished for a better place to spend our vacation. It was perfect....clean...quite...and enjoyable and close to eating establishments and businesses...and very reasonably priced.

Excellent location right sitting on Lake Hamilton, close to downtown and Hot Springs national park, great lake access & view. The property is kind of outdated without updating.

Good view, convenient location, and friendly staff make the vacation fun and enjoyable. We had a great time and plan to come back next year for family vacation. The only thing I would mention is that the room is kind of small. It's not fancy but comfortable.

Staff was excellent. Unit was somewhat dated, activites were limited at the resort. Surrounding area of Hot Springs was magnificent.

No daily maid service. NOT handicap friendly. No warning on the website of all the stairs or to request a ground level room.
