Guadalajara Hotels with Hot Tub

Hi, 3 Things to improve: -Bigger bottles of water in the room or 2 more bottles. -Faster room service and Bar service. -Better lightning in pool area. Nice facilities an the staff is very kind. Thanks

Hotel is in a prime location in the La Gourmeteria Center. Everything is within reach. High end, delicious, restaurants, bars, movie theatre. Super friendly staff. There's a donut shop right in front. Easy access to the main road or bus stop within a few blocks.

I stayed at RIU Guadalajara for 4 nights in August 2022. I will stay there again on my next trip. My room was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable and refreshed everyday by 'Helga'. Breakfast was included in my rate and it was well worth the money. I dined on the patio overlooking the city and enjoyed my morning coffee in the morning breeze. The buffet has everything you'd want for breakfast or brunch and the service is excellent. The waiters brought want you wanted without interrupting your meal. Highly recommended!

What a terrible stay! Nightmare. Arrived exhausted after a 6 hour drive. Hotel room we booked looked NOTHING like photos. Hotel had tried to give us an old room and not the refurbished nice rooms advertised on the website. Total tip off. Had to pay slightly more for one of the refurbished rooms. Rooms at closet inspection were very badly finished. Photos attached. Walls dirty, loo roll holder almost hanging off. Light switches all covered in paint and crooked…… We asked for the sofa bed to be made up for our child and we were told no! That there was no one available at 10.30pm to make up any bed. We were offered ONE bedsheet that was badly stained, worn and completely wrinkled like it had never been ironed. Also we were give one, again very wrinkled pillow and pillowcase and a green Blanc let in a very dirty bag. Shocking. Don’t know what to say! Does the HILTON GROUP know that this hotel is running their name through the muck? So upsetting To add insult to injury this Hilton Hotel advertises Premium Egyptian cotton bedding!!!! Very good service, very helpful staff, very small restaurant but delicious breakfasts and good prices. Recommended, only the TV control did not work and we were never able to watch television

If you are looking for a clean and comfortable room at a good rate, this might be the place for someone. A shopping mall is located not far from the hotel which was very convenient. It is true what other people had posted on their reviews in regards of staff efficiency, they are slow on servicing the guests in the hotel. We asked for room slippers and front desk said they where $ 250 Pesos we checked for room amenities on the hotel site and it claimed that slippers where included, we explained this to front desk and never got slippers for our 4 day stay. Perhaps the hotel should change the General Manager.

This is a five-star resort hotel, living in the downtown area, but it is very leisurely inside, basically the hotel situation in the resort area, the hotel service is very good, the center is the same as a park, the traffic around the birds and flowers is also very convenient, next to a big shopping plaza, It feels like a hotel with a high cost performance, praise!

Good location but warning: The tile floors are very slippery especially when they slip. The rest of me fell and was badly injured enough to ask for a walker for the rest of our stay. There were 3 mobility on our trip - there were people who were challenged and they all said the same, so be careful. They don't have towels. Pillows don't stay on pillows. AC/heating was very difficult to work. There was a room safe but no one could open to keep my passport. They also changed the door–after the night of the street and half of the group had to take the new key after the day trip. Buffet breakfast was not very good but I did it because it was included in the room rate. As I said, the location is good but I would not recommend this place.

Lovely old hotel. The rooms have old world charm and decor. Nice linens and comfortable beds. Well appointed bathrooms with everything you could imagine you'll need, including Ferragamo toiletries, razors, robes and slippers, etc. I was most impressed with the hotel staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I received special care from Jaimie the concierge and Nancy at the front desk. The location is far away from the attractions and there is not much in walking distance, so prepare to taxi it. Taxis are very reasonable so it's not an issue. The hotel restaurant food was good with a decedent selection of items. Be aware that English is not widely spoken by everyone, so you might have to wait for someone to assist if you have questions. On a side note, I found that English is not as widespread in Guadalajara as in most places I've been in Mexico. It's probably because it's not exactly a popular tourist destination so there's little need to have it. On the plus side this means Guadalajara has held onto the culture very well. No pandering to foreigners. Back to the restaurant, my one complaint was a waiter there on 2 nights was sick. I was very uncomfortable having him serve me. I regret not mentioning it to management. He should not have been permitted to work until he was well. I asked him to keep his distance from me and I didn't use the pen he gave me to sign the check. He seem to take it well but it never should have happened. i did find that a lot of people are wearing masks in general there. Not the hotel staff but local people. It was good to see. The hotel grounds are lovely, the pool was in the shade most of the time and I think the lounge chair area needs more attention. The cushions had bird poop all over them and were very dirty. There are a lot of pigeons on the property too. I think it's tough to keep birds away but I did witness them eating from the breakfast buffet table. Maybe a special person should be present to shoo them away? I didn't see the gym but I'm told they do have one . All in all it was a good stay there.
