Redworth Hall Hotel- Part of the Cairn Collection

Was good, staff were friendly and the service and food was good also.

Not worth it it very old fashioned hotel room very dark not enjoy it all sorry not for me

Our first time staying here and we loved it. We stayed in the spa block and couldn’t fault the room, everything was great. Spa facilities were nice and clean, and the treatments from Codie and Becca were great - we were made to feel very comfortable. Reception and bar staff were welcoming and friendly. Only negative would be that the service on the evening in the restaurant was very slow and our waitress seemed very miserable as though she would rather be anywhere else.

Over the past 10+ years we’ve stayed in many family rooms, but the one we had at Redworth Hall was hands down the best. But for a slightly underpowered shower, the room was brilliant. Broken plan space with seating meant separation from the children. Beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and access to the swimming pool was great too

The facilities need some looking after. The swimming pool water was dirty with lots of loose tiles and exposed sharp edges. The crazy golf for the kids was run down and in need of repair. Breakfast was disappointing, very limited options for non meat eaters (mushrooms were not cleaned properly). On the plus side, the room was very clean and pleasant, the customer service was good and staff were helpful. Sadly, we won't be going back.

Totally brilliant, went for a wedding, rooms / service/ food all top notch, lots on offer for all ages too, mini golf, table tennis, nice warm pool, sauna, spa, and more,friendly and helpful staff. Wedding venue - just wonderful, highly recommend. Overall an enchanting hotel, with many original features, interesting pieces throughout,rooms were spacious, cosy bars and seating areas.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary the hotel looks fantastic and is a lovely backdrop for photos. The rooms are average and showing some signs of age and could probably do with a touch up. All the staff are very friendly and helpful . Food and bar are clean and tidy and the food was good quality but slightly over priced. The spar is worth a visit but didn't get chance to use all the facilities. We would go back again.

We booked via Secret Escapes for a mother daughter spa weekend. The original hotel and grounds are beautiful and looks particularly pretty in the snow. The lady who checked us in was friendly and gave us directions to our rooms (much needed as this hotel is a maze). The deluxe spa rooms were nice with very comfortable beds however our windows were mouldy on the inside, there was no TV remote and the bedside lamp did not work. The hallways and furniture was tired and could do with some TLC. The spa area was very disappointing. The floor was dirty, it felt cramped with nowhere near enough seating for the how busy it was and there were lots of children shouting and splashing. The whole area looked tired and it really wasn’t relaxing. The jacuzzi was lovely and the sauna okay, but again cramped, and the steam room had no steam. The treatments we received as a group were all great with the exception of them running late. I waited around for 20 minutes with no information on when to expect my treatment, no apologies and then a shorter treatment duration than advertised. This is a shame because the treatment itself was lovely and the rooms were nicely done. The evening meal was good, not brilliant, with something for everyone. The wine list was good and we enjoyed the 3 different bottles we tried as a group of 10. Our waitress didn’t know how to open a bottle of wine and we had to do this for her, a little unfair on the part of her team leader who should have ensured she had this skill. We also waited a long time for plates to be cleared. Breakfast was decent with good choice but our croissants were heated up in a microwave and were soggy. Overall i was disappointed with our stay and wouldn’t rush to return unless some serious refurbishment, especially to the spa, was done.
