They spent a lot of money fixing up and modernizing the interiors of the rooms, which were quite nice, as well as cleaning up the exteriors, which was also quite nice. Overall, I would have rated it at least 4 out of 5 stars, except for one major problem. The ever-present stink of nearby rooms hotboxing their rooms with hours and hours of smoking ****, permeating into my non-smoking room. I do not have an issue with people choosing to smoke **** if they want to, not my concern what they do in their own rooms. But where I have issue is when it seeps through whatever linked ventilation systems or cracks in the walls or whatever and turns my room into a skunky, eye-watering experience. I chose a non-smoking room for a reason. How about not putting smoking and non-smoking rooms next to each other? Or, better yet, go all non-smoking like so many Choice properties have done already?
