Hotels in The Galleria, Houston

Decent hotel but was a bit old, but considerably clean compared to other stays that I have been to. The service was great and breakfast was decent too. Should try the pool and fitness room as well!

Staff were generally friendly. Very strict about going to the general pantry/breakfast area to even take a look at whats already displayed if it is not yet breakfast hours. Room was very spacious. Great cost for a hotel near our convention area at the Westin Galleria.

It was a dark and stormy night. Well, actually it was a hot and humid one full of delayed flights and my running from one end of the Oakland airport to another. I wound up arriving at 3:00 AM expecting a quick check in, so I could sleep after a long day. That didn't happen. The reservation was canceled and I was billed for one night, and I was told I MIGHT be accommodated after the cancellation was reversed and I was refunded the fee for a no show. I was told that I needed to resolve it with Wyndham reservations, called them and found out they were closed. The front desk clerk then condescended to give me a room at the rate promised when I made the reservation for one night and was essentially told, ”Take it or leave it. Screw you, and have a nice day.” The next morning, I attempted to resolve the problem through Wyndham reservations and told it was the property's problem, I had to resolve it at the front desk, with an attitude of, ”Screw you, and have a nice day.” I then confronted the General Manager, who was at the front desk when I went to the front desk as she was manning it. After making a few phone calls, she resolved the issue regarding the reservation and I got the rate promised by Wyndham. She even comped an item after all was resolved. That said, it should never have hit that point. The guaranteed reservation should have been honored on my arrival and I should not have been given a, ”Screw you and have a nice day,” attitude. The rest of the stay wasn't too bad. The room was all right, but the way things are arranged means you can't indulge and watch TV in bed. The internet connection worked well, and the grounds around the pool were quite nice. If you need something printed out off a USB, however, that cannot be done at the workstation provided for guest use. After the bad check in experience, the rest of the staff was not bad. That said, the horrid experience at check in, and the hoops I had to jump through to get the property and Wyndham to resolve the issue negate the efforts of everyone else to make the stay pleasant. Accordingly the answer to the question, ”Would I stay here again?” is a definite, ”No.”

The room was very clean and quiet

We can find such a satisfactory hotel in the United States, so that our trip is well rested. First, the hotel is affordable and offers cooking utensils for guests to cook their own meals. There is only a $7 fare from Wal-Mart, which has a lot of food to choose from and is very cheap. Secondly, due to being in the city center, it is a ten minute walk from the famous business corridor. Shopping discounts can be refunded. Third, although the hotel cleans once a week, the bedding towels can be changed every day, and the room is very clean. Quiet in the middle of noisy. The fourth hotel staff is warm and thoughtful, although we don't know English, but there are Gu Ge translation artifacts, what problems can be fixed. The hotel is good and has been staying here. There is a Hong Kong guy who speaks Chinese at the front desk. The people are very nice. There are some restaurants around, as well as gallaria, and it is convenient to eat and eat. Traveling with children is very good, the bed is big. Breakfast is average. The room has a coffee machine and a microwave.

The location is near the commercial street, the rooms are well soundproofed and you can cook some simple meals! If you don't want to eat western food, you can cook some simple Chinese food yourself. The front desk staff is very enthusiastic and can do self-service laundry. If you stay for a long time, this hotel is suitable! Non-existent customer service, poor breakfast, watery coffee, dated rooms, no housekeeping (except on request), loud AC, unsafe feeling. Here is a short summary after staying at this hotel. I’m only giving 2 stars because there was no smell, and no bed bugs.

The location is also very good and tidy. It is located in a comfortable location, so it is recommended when going to Houston. Breakfast and drinks are also well equipped.

Don't use trip.com to book. So many tricks there on the website. Go book directly via hotels or flights.
