Best Hotels near Bright Summit, Huangshan

My husband keith and I reaaly enjoyed our stay at Vienna I H south gate. The staff were very helpful with information about places to visit. We also appreciate their information with buying tickets, arranging local travel and local foods. I would be happy to recommend the Vienna as the place to stay in Tangkou. Hong Griffiths.

Our stay at the J. Mountain hotel was beyond our wildest dreams. I rarely leave reviews but our 3 nights here were so stunningly exceptional that we felt driven to express our gratitude and appreciation for the stellar staff, service, and beautiful setting of this hidden gem of a hotel. The service was without exception some of the best if not the best I have ever experienced at a hotel, and I travel often, having visited over 20 countries in the last few years alone and stayed at many beautiful and well-known five-star hotels and brands. Despite being a very young hotel (having just opened in September) J. Mountain Hotel holds its own and then some. It began months before our stay when we reached out to the hotel on WeChat to ask for guidance on equipment, tickets, and transportation. As we are visiting from America the area isn’t necessarily the easiest to access or plan for. Responses were almost immediate no matter when we reached out and always went above and beyond. For instance, my mother is nearly 70 and although very active was worried about slipping and falling while hiking in icier conditions; they offered to even purchase crampons for us should we wish although they advised us we would not need them for the time of year we were here (they were right). While here their thoughtfulness included texting us updates on and warning us about inclement weather while we were hiking around Huang Shan (there is cell service), drying and fluffing our wet gear when we returned from a particularly wet hike, and most astounding of all resolving an incredibly stressful issue we had with an upcoming flight that had been canceled (they suggested and secured alternative means of transport to a second city and then arranged for a different flight with the airline directly). We must specifically give our thanks to Hotel Manager Ryan, who is young but clearly extremely talented and excels in his role. He not only oversaw and proactively sought to help us on every front but was responsible for resolving our flight emergency. He also clearly had directed staff to help us to their u**ost ability at all times, including having breakfast and dinner ready for and served to us at the times we requested. Ryan also personally met us and gave us a tour of the hotel and its history and design, as well as accompanied us to the art gallery and an evening tea tasting held in the gorgeous tea house on the grounds. He checked in with us every day and night and made sure everything was to our liking. Driver Wang Kai was our personal chauffer throughout the stay and was extremely courteous, professional, and attentive; he was always there to pick us up and see us off at multiple locations throughout our trip and not once were we ever allowed to wait. He even brought us hotel slippers and large down jackets to change into out of our soaking wet gear when picking us up at the end of a hike. When we said we did not think we would need some of the gear they offer their guests, we noticed he packed it in the car just in case we changed our minds and needed them later. I could literally go on and on but wanted to make sure I left room to appreciate how beautiful the hotel itself is and how much attention to detail has gone into its design and planning; at almost every turn we discovered something that added to the ease, enjoyment, and comfort of our stay. J. Mountain Hotel, thank you for one of the best experiences we have had in many, many years.

Pros: 1. the property is very close to the bus entrance to Huang Shan. 2. The boss lady (it's an endearing way to address the women who manage hotels and restaurants in China) is very kind and helpful! 3. the restaurant on the ground floor is pretty good and friendly. Con: It's not really a problem of the property. I took the transit organized by the hotel to Hong Cun. The driver was very aggressive in his driving style. We left around 7pm, which is quite dark. He was making aggressive turns and brakes, making everyone onboard extremely nervous. 优点： 1.这处房产离黄山的公交入口很近。 2.老板娘非常善良，乐于助人！ 3.一楼的餐厅很不错，也很友好。 Con： 这其实不是房地产的问题。我乘坐酒店组织的交通工具到洪村。司机的驾驶风格非常激进。我们在晚上7点左右离开，当时很黑。他急转弯和急刹车，让船上的每个人都非常紧张。

The hotel closest to the south gate of Huangshan Mountain is a 5-minute walk to the shuttle bus transfer point. When you get up in the morning, just follow the flow of people. There are not many people on the cableway at 6 o'clock, so it is worth rushing.

I won’t go into details about the inn, let’s talk about the food~ My aunt recommends Hao Zai Lai Restaurant. When you come to Anhui, you must try the Huizhou stinky mandarin fish and hairy tofu. I ate both here and highly recommend it, especially with rice. Haha, it is suitable for people with unique tastes like me. This is the last one. The late braised pork was a disappointment. The way it was cooked here was in an earthen pot. It may be because there were no side dishes. It was very greasy and I got tired of it after eating two or three pieces. Overall, it's pretty good. The price isn't particularly expensive, but the specialties are a bit more expensive. I order two dishes every time and pack the rest to heat in the microwave for breakfast. Mainly a diligent and thrifty housekeeper😊

Facilities: This is a newly renovated hotel with new facilities and equipment. The TV is large and can project the screen. It is really nice to watch a movie. The mattress and pillow are very comfortable. Hygiene: The room is very clean. Service: The front desk service is very good. They actively offered us tea and introduced the Huangshan travel guide. A high-end hotel under Huazhu that is worth recommending🏨

Environment: The hotel is very new and the design was very thoughtful and aesthetic! Location: The hotel is located right outside a bus station that you can be dropped off at once you get off Huangshan (this is important because you will probably find it difficult to walk lol), and it was a quick ride to the South Gate in the morning - the hotel has cars and will be able to drop you off. There is also a restaurant to the attached to the hotel that serves classic Anhui dishes. I tried the stinky mandarin fish which was really tasty, despite the name. They also serve a hearty breakfast before your hike up Huangshan. The owner was super friendly & helpful; he suggested a route on Huangshan based on where I was staying for the night and also makes fresh coffee. The hotel will provide walking sticks and water for your hike too. Overall, the stay was perfect & definitely will be coming back if I come to Huangshan again.

The two sisters were very warm and considerate. After booking the room, they immediately called me to tell me about the Huangshan strategy. They also contacted me on the same day to send me the location and proactively reserved a parking space. The check-in was smooth. The room was very clean and beautiful, consistent with the pictures. My skin is prone to allergies and this time it was safe. get off. There is scenery outside the window, and the night view is also very good. On the day we went up the mountain, my sister would personally pick us up and drop us off. She was worried that we would be cold and gave her a warm baby. This experience was very good and impeccable. I will choose Yunzhongju in the future and recommend it to my relatives and friends! ! ! Everyone stopped immediately, sisters are very good! ! ! Great hotel. Super helpful staff. Cute design. Soft thick blankets and soft bed linen. Very Clean place in a cute town. Loved the location. Team was helpful with information re mountain 🏔 viewing and how it works. They sell the buss ticket to the cable car. Very convenient. Would surely book this place again. !!! 🤩. Ps. Room has AC with heating. Great to have for November. Room facing east so I had lots of sun. Only down was I had a corner room which can be cold and noisy but the heavy bus noise is gone by 7pm.

Environment: The room has central air conditioning and floor heating, which is very friendly for humid areas! The bathroom is three-separated and the space is relatively large. Service: The service is the best experience. The boss was very patient and detailed about the climbing guide of Huangshan, which saved us a lot of time. The boss also helped to contact the carpooling and reduced part of the room fee. The boss is really super cheerful and enthusiastic! Location: The location is near the Namdaemun transfer station, which is very convenient. Food: The hotel has free mineral water, and the boss also gave three free breakfasts. The dinner is not salty, tastes good, and the dishes are also new. Overall, the experience is very good, really recommended
